Hey everyone, looking to sell my 2008 E90 M3. I've had this car a little over two and a half months and have loved it. Only reason I'm selling is my nerd-mobile Tesla has finally arrived. I'll be keeping my E92, but three cars seems like a little too much right now.
**not parting out with anything on the car**
Specs:

2008 E90 M3 (78,XXX miles, will go up as it's my daily) VIN: WBSVA93568E216246
Alpine White
6-speed manual
Slicktop (no sunroof)
EDC (with lowering springs, EDC retained, OEM springs also included)
Rod bearings done (JMP Autowerkz)
Throttle actuators done (JMP Autowerkz)
LCI trunk conversion (trunk is de-badged)
OE BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber spoiler (purchased new in box ~1.5 months ago, excellent condition and almost impossible to find now)
iND painted white reflectors
Fabspeed catless x-pipe (resonated)
Agency Power cat back exhaust
OE BMW black grill
Black interior (leather carbon accents)
iDrive/nav (updated CIC by previous owner)
Apex ARC-8 (black)
Turner stud kit
Rennline iPhone magnet mount
Everything else on the car is stock

Now onto some more thorough details.

The good:

The car hasn't given me any issues over my ownership, and according to the previous owner it never gave him any either. The car is overall in very good shape and drives well. The transmission feels OK (in my uneducated opinion) and there are no weird noises/ticks/issues that I know of. No cracks on the windshield. According to the previous owner there is no paint work done anywhere on the car (excluding the trunk, which was swapped out with the newer LCI style and retains the paint from that car it was pulled off of). The car has lowering springs; I was planning on doing coils eventually but the car sits at a nice practical height currently and is easy to drive as a daily. The car is fully loaded with premium audio. During my ownership I never took it to a touch-style wash (hand wash at home with pressure washer). Appears that the previous owner(s) took decent care of the paint as well. The Agency Power exhaust sounds great paired with the Fabspeed catless x-pipe. I had planned on a plenum to balance it out but never got around to it. Rod bearings and throttle actuators are done by a reputable shop (JMP) and I can probably get receipts from the previous owner upon request for these. The car has had one track day on it via previous owner.

The not so good:

Like any 76k mile 14 year old car, the bumper/hood/mirror caps have their fair share of rock chips. I was going to re-paint the whole front end when I thought I was going to keep the car indefinitely, but now I'll leave that to the next owner's discretion. The black kidney grill also has plenty of rock chips/fading, and could use a re-paint or a full on replacement. Most people probably won't be bothered by it but it bothers me. The interior is in good condition. Seats could use a cleaning, back seats look to have never been sat in. The trim is also in great condition. Top of the shifter has normal wear that shifters get over time (slightly shiny looking). There is one minor scratch on the trim next to where the phone mount sits (I'll post a photo below). The CIC has the upgraded head unit (whatever that means, I never dug deep into the iDrive system so I'm not very familiar with it. I prefer no nav so you'll have to do some research on this as this info was relayed to me by the previous owner. When I'm in the car I switch it off anyways as it's distracting to me). Brake pads need replacement soon, I will replace them with Akebono pads if the new owner requests me to do so before the sale is completed. The car is throwing a service engine soon code because of the catless x pipe (for increased emissions). There are no TPMS sensors either.

The very not so good:

Basically, the wheels are f***ed (well not all of them, just one). Long story short, I traded the gold BBS RIA's I had on this for the APEX's it has now plus a bunch of moneys. The wheels are E46 fitment and has a slight gap on the front as I didn't want to run a massive spacer. The rears are pretty flush. I'm using a spacer on both front and rear. I think the wheels **may** have been refinished, and if they were I don't know by who. The finish on the wheels looks glossy, and shows scratches easily, of which the wheels have many. I also had a tire failure on the left rear on the freeway, so it was replaced with an odd-ball size (255 instead of the normal 275 like it has on the right side. The tire stayed mounted during the failure and didn't fling around causing damage anywhere, but in the process the outer edge of the wheel barrel made contact with the ground and curbed the ever loving crap out of the side. This is probably more info than you need to know so I'll just sum it up as this: the wheels aren't in good shape, and the tires will need to be replaced soon. Basically if you buy this car and have OCD like me you'll want to immediately sell the wheels and tires the car has for a different/better setup. Either way, ditch the wheels and tire setup it has now, which is:

APEX ARC-8 Bimmerworld Exclusive wheels 18x9, et42 (E46 fitment)
(left front tire: Toyo Proxes 4 Plus, 225/45/18, right front tire: Toyo Proxes 4 Plus 225/45/18, tread is low on both)

APEX ARC-8 Bimmerworld Exclusive wheels 18x10, et25 (E46 fitment)
(left rear is Potenza RE760 Sport 255/35/18, right rear is Potenza RE760 Sport, 275/35/18)

Located in the Central Valley/Fresno area. I'm willing to travel (and even ship if you pay for it).

My only ask in this thread is that you keep the "I saw XX with XX miles for XX dollars less" or any of your undoubtedly accurate, invaluable, and completely unsolicited current market value comments to yourself. The price is or best offer, and the opportunity to find a slicktop 6 speed in Alpine White is becoming increasingly difficult day by day.

Asking price is $38,000 OBO.

Thanks for looking.
