+1

I picked it up as a precaution.

Especially if all of the other offerings are questionable regarding their ability to cool over OEM, I want to have it now just in case...

it could also be the pad - i always trip out - on certain pads the pedal firmness varies (on same fluid, not bled). I don't get it scientifically but that's what I notice. lol

Interesting, I've only tried out the Pagid RS29s but will keep that in mind when running other pads. Might not be for a while though cuz I have another ~40% pad life set of RS29s waiting for the current set to be killed lol

maybe the pads just have better bite, so there is the illusion of less pedal.

i want to experience really really really good brakes on a nearly stock car. i have little experience with different pads (ferodo ds2500's and dsuno's), so i don't know if there is anything i would like more. i just have no idea if i would like something better or not... i want to experience absolutely excellent brakes so i can know what i'm chasing after in better braking or if i'm already there and just don't know it.

My car would stand on its nose but the tires on the car right now can't handle the torque.

Do your tires slip on the wheels when braking?

It feels and sounds like it, but I didn't have a shoe polish with me to mark them. I need to add that to my track bin, thank you for the reminder.

You can probably hear the tires them in this video:

The plan is to install them on the 18th. For sure, my next track event is May 28/29th, not sure if I'm going to squeeze in something the week before.

I was going to use a silver sharpie or something and just mark the tire at the valve stem. Is there a reason for some polish specifically?

Not that I'm aware of, I think it's just a ye olde schoole method.

I'm sure a sharpie would work just as well.

What track/event are you doing? I haven't been to the track in months. Stock suspension starting to feel a bit sloppy but I feel like taking the old girl out for some laps.

You think it could be from the pads wearing down. Since they are more worn down, it takes a little bit more pedal distance to engage the pad to the rotor vs brand new when the pads are thick...?

flushing 4-5 days on srf doesnt seem right.

Auto Club Speedway @ Bimmerfest both days. Might do Laguna Seca the week before. I don't think my current tires will last me more than a day though - I have a brand new set of Nitto NT01s I'll probably use for ACS.

Acs much easier on tires than wsir. Road is smooth. Not many high speed sweepers (minus the roval)

ok, nice. i was really excited when i finished my double run day at laguna with a ton of tread on the tires. then we go to big willow and its like i took a cheese grater to them...

i wonder how much faster turn 8 would be a big willow if it wasn't so turbulent and the track surface wasn't like a unmaintained bar parking lot.
