As for some of the other comments from fellow "enthusiasts" I thought I was on a performance car forum? Clearly I posted this in the wrong section...
Every single mod on this car is for performance on the track. Pretty obvious really. It's not my daily driver.

Any issues with the Mini CS battery? How long have you used it and how much weight is saved? I've been considering it but have heard some negative things on it My battery is almost 4 yrs old & was thinking of pre-emptively changing out to this one. Thanks.

Agree totally. I guess BMW had to compromise on a legal 'street car' in Germany with the GTS, what with TUV regs etc. Still it does look great. Even the M3 GT4 spoiler is somewhat a compromise in order to hit spec class. I figured go optimal given it's not street driven now and won't be raced in any spec class by me.

had it in for about 3 months. i leave it on battery tender in between track days. Zero issues. Weight saving is about 25 pounds i believe. not worth doing imho unless you are really getting down to major weight saving for the track.

Car looks great. I'm at 3400 lbs with half a tank of gas, but I drive mine on the street too so I still have some weight gaining creature comforts. Was your car a stripper from the factory? Mine was fully loaded.
Too true Sir!

Mine wasn't fully loaded but leather, sunroof etc., Still, a shit load came out. The dash and all wiring is intact as are the front door cards. Need em out soon, along with air con etc!

Yokos= INSANE grip. Really. Tough on life though; takes time to figure out alignment, pressures and suspension settings.
Worth 2 seconds easily versus BFG R1's/ Hoosier R6's.

Before aero; pretty neutral, no real understeer due to negative camber and sq set-up
After aero, able to push way quicker through medium/fast corners. Reduced lap time from 127.6 to 125.3. Significant.
Braking from high speed was fantastic- car total settled. First few sessions the splitter was causing oversteer, so we dialed in more AOA to the spoiler to settle the rear. Seemed to work and likely need more as we evolve. This GT4 based splitter really works in reducing lift/adding downforce.
