TPMS with live pressures
I was really sick of not knowing live pressures.
I looked around and found the HUF ID1000 IntelliDisplay Tire Pressure Display (compatible with Ford 315MHz TPMS sensors), google it. $89. It's powered via USB cable and any 12V power source. Then I bought HUF OEM FORD sensors and got them from AMazon. (you need FORD 315MHz Ford protocol). I bought mine on Ebay for $129 per set (4pcs). You can store up to 5 sets of wheels and sensors. Then you need a $10 Ford activator/learning tool (For Ford TPMS Reset Sensor Programming Training Tool), on Ebay. That's it. works real nice. I just pinned that little display onto my dash. The dash shows live pressures (or temperatures) after maybe 200ft of driving. I checked with my tire pressure gauge and the readings are spot on.

Do you need to do anything with the TPMS system when you switch rims? Or once you learn all three sets, you can swap freely and it recognizes everything? |

Since we are on the topic of tire pressures, any reason to not run Nitrogen in your track tires? I have a 40cuft Nitrogen tank, which I've been using to adjust shock pressures and started thinking about using Nitrogen in my track wheels, in an attempt to stabilize pressures a bit..

I bring a 20' hose as well. If a track has nitrogen, I fill up there.

Super simple, takes less than 5sec. I just marked my set of tires with a #1 to 3

Isn't there a front and rear oem Tpms antenna? Could probably yank those for the weight savings...

New updates for 2020 ST3/TT3 season
Keep working on upgrades.
315/30 all around...hope to finally get rid of initial turn-in and increase mechanical grip at low speeds. I will make fender flares later Lexan windows all around. Carbon driver door, to make perfect 50.0% cross weight. And many many small improvements related to cooling and venting. Car is with me and 1/2 tank 3501 lbs.

Looks incredible, thanks for sharing. Did you have to do anything wild to get the 315's to fit up front? Little tapping with the mini sledge and steering stops or what?

I have not yet a limited steering angle other than the marks on my steering wheel. The usual stops available won't work. I can't wait to test this weekend..
