As far as the race, well duh, ttrs is what, 4.0 to 60 by C&D? Plus it has launch control... M3 is about 4.3 to 60... there you have it... modded M3, well what's modded? Catback? maybe he got a shitty tune or something, cause i would think that m3 can catch up after 100mph... those TTrs's are nice though

I'm looking at maybe making a change.

With 113mph 1/4 mile for a stock TT-RS , it could take long before the M3 catch up .

C&D recorded 0-60 for M3 at 3.9 sec. A video such as this is not an accurate representation of any car vs car. However, they are a lot of fun to make.

that race comes down to the launch, it looked like the M3 was pulling on the TT once it got going -- do that race from a 60mph roll and see what happens

TTRS is faster than the M3 quarter mile but from a roll the M3 will pull ahead by a great margin especially with a cat delete and mods.

Stock for stock it would be pretty much equal , M3 maybe a bit faster , maybe ,but sure it would'nt be by a great margin ! Stock TT-RS trap 113 , M3 is around that , 114 when lucky !

And catless-tuned M3 vs tuned TT-RS , the M3 would be slower for sure !

I agree tune for tune and stock for stock but stock TTRS vs tuned M3 from a roll (not dig or quarter mile run) the tuned M3 will pull ahead by a great margin. I believe I saw a comparo race on youtube from a roll.

here is another one. the 335 is also modded. Quarter mile times does not tell all.
The TTRS is just as fast in the quarter as the Z06 but after that it's not even a race.

What mods does the M3 have (first vid)? I would have expected it to catch up a bit faster with some decent mods.

Wow , I'm really surprised to see the stock manuel M3 being that much faster then the stock TT-RS , specially since I drive a stock manuel M3 and I'm a bit slower then my friends A6 2.7t who run 12.0@113mph(pretty much same as TT-RS) !

In fact , I've seen that stock Z06 can do 11.2@127mph ,TT-RS is more like 12.1 ! Also trap speed is everything you need to look at to compare AWD vs RWD , these numbers don't lie ! Exept in a situation where the RWD would spin really badly , it would'nt trap as high as it could !
