Question on Enhanced premium sound
I have the enhance premium sound upgrade in my M3 and the bass is not very loud at all....actually doesn't even hit much at all! My brother's 335 with logic 7 hits MUCH louder.....both are e92
Is that normal or .....is the logic 7 better than the M3 enhanced sound. Any input is helpful. Thanks guys! |

Go into the EQ settings and try some of the settings that have been posted. Every person's taste of music and what they hear may differ so fiddle with it till you can get it just right..
Try ante up the 100hz a tad and then turn down the BASS setting and see if you can find a good balance. Sometimes it gets boomy and the under seat subs sound muddled. Take a look in here as well: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=428114 Good luck |

Mine hits very hard but it depends on the source and track bit rate.

the main difference is that the HK L7 sounds more full and alive at low to moderate levels. The L7 "subs" definitely move more air as well, evidence by the rattles from the sideskirt area when you turn up the music. The Enhance System lacks thumping bass at low to mid volumes, and if you turn up the 100hz or Bass adjustment's, it seems like the bass rolls off after 70-80hz, while putting way to much emphasis in the 250-500hz region, sounding IMHO quite harsh. It does sound quite good when played at high volume levels though, with "full" bass response, good midrange power, but a bit peaky with the higher notes. The L7 seems to get muddy and too bass heavy the louder the volume. On a side note, I've heard the Hi-Fi system on loaner cars I've had in the past, I feel it has a "warmer" sound quality at low to mid volumes as well.
