Extended warranty cost?
Bought a 2011 M3 coupe with 24k miles. Out of new car warranty. Does anyone know what an extended warranty would cost at the dealership? Reading about rod bearings and fault codes makes me nervous?:confused

Hey OP I don't blame you. I got my M3 on Christmas eve and I asked the same question even after reading up on entire M3post about extended warranty.
I am in Canada and seems like you guys get better deals so I don't think my input will help much here but I got my extra 3 years, everything covered (pretty much), upto 120 000km warranty for 5000 CAD. (Original quoted price was $6000.) I didn't go with BMW extended warranty. I thought about getting a refund and taking warranty related stuff on my own but just for the heck of peace of mind i decided to keep this extra warranty.

I've been tossing around the idea as well. Seems like prices are all over the board. USAA supposedly has one of the better rates and service support, from what I have gathered.

Call Colin @ Wanted 1 (877) 834-3888 x521
or email Colin@wantedautoprotect.com It will be about $3,500 for ANOTHER 5yr/100kmi. With zero deductible and they prefer you to goto your local BMW deal but you can goto who you want that is BMW CERTIFIED. :/ end of search. I don't recogmend because I get something from them or because he is a friend (never met him). I do it because I have all my car through them for many years and never had issues getting something repaired. |

I researched wanted. very negative reviews.
I ended up buying easy care for under 4k. I have family members that have easy care and vouched for their service.

A lot of people say that. I had them cover a amp for the mark Levanson system in the LS460L....it's not even covered under the warranty.

That sounds about right. I got the total care from easy care for 3 years 36,000 miles for a little less.

Can you point us to these reviews? The negative ones I found had the admin on the site come out and say they were fake. The legit negative ones I saw, on BBB for instance, at least had responses from the company.

Do you have to get EasyCare from a dealer?
Thanks.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
