Could you feel the lock up? Did you see the ABS light and try threshold braking or was there no time to figure that out? Any idea why it failed? Mileage or track heat or abuse such as debris getting between the tone ring/sensor?

Just got her back from having the Mechatronic replaced. Feeling good right now!! Had a 2020 X5 4.0 as a loaner and I must say that is a fine vehicle. Sport Plus mode gives a nice little snarl on upshifts but getting back into the M3 was just amazing. The car feels great and maybe it's placebo but it feels much faster! The price to repair was insane. A brand new Mechatronic was damn near $6000.

You know, only thing what you follow, is shift light. I absolutely did not notice when ABS light came on. And you are not ready to re-adjust when breaking in the end of the main straight...

the photo looks fuzzy to me a semi-new phone with a decent camera would do it a lot of good or maybe steadier hands at least

Crossed the 70k mile mark in my E90. Bought it April 2019 with 60k, so that averages out to roughly 8k per year. Overshot my target by about a 1000 miles, and I'm not mad about it.

yesterday I pulled used HVAC I got from an x3 that has the heated seat buttons I need after the seat swaps for the original HVAC to see if that fixed my AC problem. It did, AC works! Do I guess I just need to get the lower buttons for heated seats or swap to an HVAC from a 3 series or whatever. Strange the only thing that failed was ac/temp control, and didn't throw any codes.
