Here are 2 more pictures. They do a better job (especially the one in the shade) of showing that the plate is a lighter shade and that the finish is more of a satin. I'm really pleased with how it looks.

All I needed to take to the county tax office was my license registration window sticker (they make a new one - same expiration date). They didn't want the old (1 month old) plates back. I was charged $1.30 in additional fees.

So who snagged the "S65B40" plate? I imagine it was someone on here. It was available the last time I checked (a couple weeks ago) but isn't anymore. I had contemplated getting it because I like the idea of a vanity message that only enthusiasts will recognize, and now I'm kicking myself that I missed it!

Oh well, I guess I'll stick with the random-lettered collegiate plate that I have...

well i'm the only m3 with a vorsteiner trunk around here. i live off midnight pass. you'll probably be seeing it driving around more as the gt-r is headed to the tuner.
