Happy to do it.
Word is that if you enter the new Macy's/Nordsrom garage and drive to the top, we can get to the roof. This will be a good place since nobody in there right mind would be parking on the roof. EDIT: I just totally forgot. MY office's garage is free/open and is empty on weekends. We can get all of us inside the garage or up on the roof of the garage. I say we do it there. No security guards either on weekends. The garage is located near Westheimer and Bering Drive. EDIT: Also, be sure to wash your cars before the meet. Feel free to bring your favorite quick detailer and micro fiber towels to to do a clean up before the photo shoot. |

That's interesting, because eveytime I see your car, it always looks cleaner than mine, even though I wash mine every weekend. I guess I shouldn't let my nasty yellow clear bra fool me.

You need to get those dudes to fix your clear bra. I'd also have them take care of that scratch on your rear bumper, which they obviously caused.

And I am out......
I appear to be hemorrhaging fluids. I would say that's bad. Had to refill the power steering reservoir on Friday (and did so about 2 months ago) and now I have something which dries red on the garage floor. Don't say it.... F u c k |

Roll Call Update:
September 19, 2009 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Location: Meet at Parking Lot in front of Main Entrance of Toyota Center (La Branch and Polk)--short caravan to video shoot location nearby JC919 - OEM (Contact Info - Yes) Tlud - Dinan (Contact Info - Yes) frankzlin79 - AA Signature (Contact Info - Yes) MGZT - OEM (Contact Info - Yes) That's too bad that both Navfaz and Ajax-Prime are out. I was looking forward to hearing their exhausts. Well, the way it's turning out, it looks like we'll be able to do the video and photo shoot all before dinner time. Well, Tlud, looks like we are the only after market exhausts representing. But at least we will have a base line stock exhausts from MGZT and JC919 in the video. I hope you all can make it to the photo shoot. I'm more excited about the photos than the video. |

Seriously though, that sucks. Let me know if you need a ride to or from the dealership or anything. Also, if you want to hear Frank's AA exhaust, I can swing by and pick you up on the way. I can get you back before 6. Quote:

Ha ha don't expect much from me. I'm really just an amateaur with a solid entry-level pro camera. The real skills in good photos is photoshoppong skills where I am a mere little fledgling. I aspire to be able to Photoshop like EAS photoshops their photos. This photo shoot will be my first serious endeavor.

I'm thinking it may be my washer fluid...I refill with Rain X fluid which is orange. Refilled on Thursday to the brim, and I was able to put the rest of the gallon in this morning without a problem. The stuff on the floor is evaporating quickly, and doesn't have that petroleum/mineral oil feel to it at all.
Power steering fluid does feel like an oil, and is greenish. My greatest concern is that it's transmission oil, but again, that is not what this feels like, and my shifting is not notchy at all. Calling the dealership and getting anything useful out of them is next to impossible during the week...Saturday's, better luck with a lottery ticket. What to do what do do |

Given those facts, there's no question in my mind that it's wiper fluid. Those plastic reservoirs crack in every car I've ever had due to the heat of the engine bay, and this engine runs hotter than most. Have you poked around the engine bay to feel or see where the fluid is coming from?
Transmission oil would not evaporate quickly like that. You should still get that power steering fluid issue checked out, but that doesn't sound like an immediate problem.

As far as the power steering, I had set up an appt yesterday to have it looked at. Talk about a focking sphincter check. |

I've been too lazy to go down to my garage and check myself, but I'm wondering if there's a way to feel around underneath the wiper fluid reservoir or easily unbolt and pull it out to see if that is indeed the problem.
