Anyone in the East Bay have the M Perf. Exhaust?

I would like to meet up just to hear one in person. Either Berkeley/Oakland or Pleasanton/Dublin/Livermore. Should take maybe 5-10 min, and my schedule is reasonably flexible. PM me if you have the time for a fellow forum member. Thanks.

OEM exhaust mod is better. Sounds better and costs around $500

Dkhan23 beat me to it. I personally went the OEM exhaust mod. Picked one up here for $270 shipped. Met a guy just yesterday with the M Performance exhaust. Guy bought it brand new for $3000. Not only did it sound almost identical to the OEM exhaust mod, but I personally thought the exhaust mod sounded better. The biggest gain you get from the M Performance exhaust, IMO, is it is lighter. But for that kind of money, I would go the OEM route.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is an 'OEM exhaust mod'?
Seems like a general enough phrase where searching won't turn up the most reasonable results.

If you google, YouTube or search this forum for OEM exhaust mod you'll see plenty. It basically removed two of the perforated pipes and replaces them with straight pipes in the evhaust chamber.

Apparently you can! Sorry for not checking first.
Here's a video if anyone else is wondering:

For anyone that has done this, is there any drone or notable downsides to be aware of? Naturally, $500 is almost within impulse-buy range.

No droning. I did the ACM method which bypasses the middle two chamber.

See, I wasn't the only one telling you go OEM mod route. Save yourself the $$$$.
