Good spec. Right color. Right number of pedals. Low miles. Good price.

Check. Anyone know the cost to get it into the States?

To what zip code? $15-2500 should do it to most anywhere.

I'm thinking for going through customs and all the "fun stuff." We'll see!

Thanks for this info. That all seemed pretty straight forward until I got to the part where you had a car sitting for 2+ months while you waited for the title. I didn't know about that part. Also didn't know that only accident free vehicles could be imported. I could understand not allowing vehicles that had been a previous total loss, but 0 claims seems harsh. Here's my carfax report.

This is exactly what I’m looking for! The process for getting it into the states seem like a major pain in the a$$.
Wish it was easier and not expensive.

It's not expensive if you drive it in yourself, it's about $800 customs fee - rather than shipping co managing the customs broker/agent, you contact them direct. their fee is $150ish.

As for the wait, that was NJ process, they have one central team managing all foreign title requests- in other states it may be different

So if I fly up there, and drive the car back to Indiana, your saying it's around $800 to get it here? Is there any delays or what? Sorry, not familiar with this process at all. I've bought many cars from other states, but not Canada.

Strange. It works when I click on it.. If you want me to email the link, I can..

Western Canadian M3 shoppers! From what I gather, American buyers find this car to be priced attractively enough for it to remain under or at true value after paying a few thousand between border fees and either trucking or a plane ticket/hotel, etc. This car is a deal for you!

What you have to do is work with a broker who deals with the port you're coming through, you obviously get all the paperwork completed and sent to him in advance of the crossing. the forms below indicated in red are what you will need to send to the broker including the cert letter from BMW. there won't be any delays if the broker has the forms in advance, he will coordinate with the boarder agents. My car was in Buffalo a few hours after leaving TFX headquarters in Toronto.

Thanks for the info... I think I'll just wait and keep looking for one in the US.
