Great find Kama, any chance there is information that you could translate? Price in Yen?

Here is a vendor in Sweden:

http://www.oclbrorssons.se/34633_SE

About $10k for a set. Gasp.

If we are lucky and the Euro price = USD price, they will be about MSRP 1450 front, 1650 rear, +150 extra for ceramic polish. Don't see any likely discounts if we buy direct from BBS.

The specs for the E9X M3 is going to be:

Front: 19 - 8.75 et22
Rear: 19 - 10.25 et22

Lead time is about 4~6 weeks.

We haven't received official pricing, but we will get some soon.
I don't think that they are going to be as high as the $10k mark.

Never seen anythng close to this on a rice-mobile and I live in Ricer Central.

Can't believe someone said rice and BBS in the same sentence.

Exclamation

So far, I don't like them! They do look a little better in the Brilliant Silver & Black Diamond...maybe have to see them in person. I do like the strength & weight aspect though!

Based on pricing in Euro, guessing just north of 6.5k for M3.

Hoping to be able to spec order square 8.75 set for under 6k.

Dude, you are like a dog with a bone...geez.

The new FI wheels in the E9x fitment retail for $2,100-$2,300 each. They will not be available in the U.S. market, so the wheels will have to be special ordered directly from Germany. (through a U.S. dealer with the right connections)

Under 6k is a pipe dream.

I only say this, because you still seem to be holding out some irrational hope this is even remotely possible. (when it's not)

You cannot 'estimate' the cost in US dollars.

Since you live here in the United States, you have think of these wheels more like illegal contraband that is not supposed to be sold here. (at all)

Then and only then, can you appreciate how expensive it will be to work around those road blocks to acquire these wheels. (at a higher price)

Or you could simply risk sending your money directly to some European based company that you don't know...and hope they don't scam you out of your hard earned cash. It's clear that you really want these wheels...just don't get TOO anxious and make huge boneheaded mistake.

I'm saying this from experience and knowledge of exactly what this entails, and how this all works behind the scenes.

Price is definitely high (over $12K/set)
Why so high, other that of course very, very good looking wheels, what are the advantages? Are they ultra light and very rigid? What material?

Expensive yes, good looking yes, the question is, how much they weigh and how rigid they are. If they are as good as say RSSports Club Sport wheels or some others, i.e., under 20pounds each and very hard, they may well be worth it.

These will definitely be unique. That's good reason alone for the price. I'm glad someone is not copying the CSL style wheels that everyone else is making. And these may be the lightest high quality wheels out there. The only question is with them being so light, are they strong enough for street use?

Cheers.

$12K is heartstopping for a street aluminum wheelset. I'd rather have an R1 in the garage.
