As in the air box. Thanks for the heads up. I assume the Eventuri Air box lid should fit no problem though?

Just an update for everyone.
Looking like Early to Mid December is being targeted for delivery. We will reach out to everyone the first or second week of November for any balance due. For those looking to get the kit, we are adding those interested to a waiting list for when the next production run happens. Please send your Name, VIN, Address, Phone, and Email to sales@bpmsport.com to be added. Thank you!

Hi everyone, unfortunately just received the following from Harrop:
"Unfortunately, since we spoke there has been a further update and delay on the m3 kits. Due to some compounding delays on parts, our best estimate for scheduled build time is now the week of 20/12. However, there is a risk that this may move to January/February due to these compounding delays. Also, note that the currently scheduled build week is the last week of our production schedule for the year and if the kits were to be completed, we would not be able to ship them until we return from the holiday break in January." Sorry for the delay.. they will come, just very hard to acquire due to the present world situation.. I will keep this thread updated with any further news.

Question for everyone here. I noticed that the 390MM 3/4" rubber hose that goes from the bottom of the intercooler reservoir has a pretty noticeable kink on my car shortly before it connects to the pipe at the front of the car.
In looking at it, it honestly seems like the hose is too long which caused the kink. I remember at some point some people had mentioned they had done some trimming on hoses when installing the kit. Was this one of the hoses that some people ended up trimming? I'm contemplating cutting out the kink and putting an elbow there, or replacing the hose entirely, which I think is just bulk 3/4" heater line. It would be helpful to know if others had fitment issues with this line, as I decide what to do here. I didn't do the install of the kit- and am kind of baffled how I never noticed this until now. I've been in and out of the engine bay plenty since I had the kit put on a year ago. |

Yours appears routed differently to mine. Hence the kink in yours as it turns back towards the cylinder head. Mine runs straight along the chassis rail back to the inter-cooler reservoir tank.

I thought you were perhaps talking about the kink in the yellow circle which mine doesn't have. Mine does go straight down to the intercooler pipe but it also runs straight along the chassis rail back towards the reservoir. .

Also looking at it again- my connection on the metal pipe doesn't seem very far in.
The hose for whatever reason seems too long. I think the answer is just to replace the line with some bulk 3/4 heater hose and get it set correctly. |

Yes, or reroute it, trim a bit off the end if needed, and then reinstall further on the inter-cooler pipe with more pipe engagement until the kink is no more..

I had to trim several of the hoses, including the one you are talking about. Glad they added extra, better than too short. I also found some separator clips at work that allowed me to route hoses better and eliminate rubbing as much as possible. That area is rather busy with many hoses and tubes as it is. Looks like yours would just need a reroute. Mine is similar to DrFerry's routing.

I have a high pitch squeal coming from my blower that I'm assuming is the bypass valve.
Is everyone else's bypass valve super loud? |

LOL, they all squeal man, its a roots-type! Squeal is the name of the game! Or maybe whine is a better term, lol! If it is RPM-based then all is well and right with the world! Enjoy!

It's not S/C whine, it's super loud at idle and partial throttle. I have a full straight-pipe exhaust (no cats or mufflers) and the squeal is loud and clear above my exhaust. Edit-I wish the S/C whine was hellcat loud. |

The very high frequency, shrill (almost dog whistle) type sound (like a dentist's drill) at idle is indeed the "normal" sound from the bypass valve.
