I just flipped my rears at 94 runs. Pretty even wear, but outside edge was gone. Not much life left - maybe 15 runs.

My fronts do double duty as e46 rears. I just flipped them at 70 runs. They have some life left. Maybe up to 30 runs.

Lifespan of about 100 runs.

What camber and pressures are you running in the rear? I've run -1.8deg in the rear for the last year and can barely get to the rollover markers at 32psi hot.

I'm considering taking out 0.25deg of camber to work the tread width a bit better. Just waiting to gather more tire temp data after a couple more events with warmer temps.

You guys are the best. Making me feel good about my worn out tires that I mounted a month ago

The Nebulizer funny you mentioned that. I have a set of rears from my E46 from 2 years ago that still have some tread left...was thinking of using them as beater front spares for events that don't matter.

Type_Yarr similar camber here, mine are wearing very very evenly and haven't worn at all compared to my fronts. I noticed the same and have been running 27-28 hot PSI. Lowest I've ever run, but I am barely at the triangles. I've started @29 cold. FWIW I used to run my E46 rears at about 30-31. Apples to oranges for sure, but it doesn't seem like you need much PSI in the E9x rears. Try dropping at the next event.

What wheels/tire sizes r u running?

With those rear psi, what are you running in front?

I run FS. I'm on 18x9f 18x10r 275 square rival s. I can't seem to get the rear low enough either. Last event, using chalk marks and drive feel, it seemed like 28 was right, but I had fronts around 34-35. I felt like I was chasing my tail and couldn't quite find the right balance.

Same size as your setup, APEX EC7, RE71R tires

I'm running around 31 in the front. Wore out my triangles slightly from this past weekend. It's felt pretty good with the low rear - no real traction issues here except a cone-punt or two due to me applying throttle at the wrong time

I think sealed asphalt may impact this as well. I ran on concrete. Albeit crappy old beat up concrete.

I believe I am at -1.8 deg in the rear and usually run about 29psi in the rear.

The Nebulizer funny you mentioned that. I have a set of rears from my E46 from 2 years ago that still have some tread left...was thinking of using them as beater front spares for events that don't matter.

Yeah I've briefly tried the 28-30psi range and didn't like how sluggish the rear felt transitioning, mostly because of the large mismatch front to rear. Maybe I'll try again with better data collection.

Similar to what you said, my rear wear has been slower than the front, but I get more inside wear. Likely due to a combo of additional wheel spin wear, and not getting that outer rear shoulder down in every element. I was just surprised to hear of someone wearing the outer shoulder out first on the rear.

In the front, I run 36-37psi hot to keep it off the triangles. That's with 1.6deg and a Dinan bar at the middle setting. I've only started collecting pyrometer tire temps this season, and so far I get around 15degC hotter on the outside shoulders on the front, and 10degC hotter on the inside on the rear. But so far our events have been cold (~10degC ambient/tarmac) and windy.

Most of our events are on low grip, large aggregate asphalt. When we run at an airstrip with high grip, fine aggregate, runway tarmac I usually have to bump pressures up another 1-1.5psi to keep them off the sidewalls. This is all with 275/35/18 square RE71Rs on 9.0s and 10.0s.

I checked my notes and I was wrong above.

I'm running
Eibach (20100.310) FSB full stiff (about Dinan at soft)
Front: -1.8, -1.7 camber (max), 0 toe, 32psi, 275 RE71r
Rear: -1.4, -1.3 camber, [should be 1/8"] toe in, 29psi, 275 RE71r

How do you like the front with zero toe?

By the way. About to get destroyed at the NJ Pro this weekend. Daddio is driving a Mustang in the class.

That's too much toe in.

Daddio is in a barrowed auto. It'll be interesting to see the results for sure.

Damnit - user convertor error from degrees to inches. Yes, this is double what was intended. It should be 1/8" toe in for the rear. Why does anyone measure in degrees? Stupid tire engineers and their fancy maths.

When using degrees, you eliminate the need to consider wheel diameter and modify values based on it.

Hey all, I just got an E90 ZCP recently for FS and am trying to get my car setup and am in the market for some used wheels (18x9F/18x10R)...I've posted a few WTBs with no luck so thought I'd try here too. Please PM me if you know of anything, thanks!
