Valvetronic Gintani Race W/ Semi Gloss Tips

Hi Fellow M3 Post Members,
I've had my car for only a month, but the Gintani Race exhaust was a dream for over 2 years. So I had to buy it. I called the guys at Gintani, and they were extremely helpful. Talk to Alex or Arno, they will be able to answer any question you have about your car. They have amazing customer service. He told me that the exhaust build would take around 2 weeks. So I have been waiting about a week now, hopefully another week and I'll have it installed I can't wait lol. I will keep you guys posted once I get it

I'm not sure if this has been answered before. Would the exhaust cause the loss of power in closed mode, since literally the closed valves create restriction?

Great question, I would assume under WOT it would open even in closed mode

Is this just the rear section? Regardless of open or closed gains are going to be minimal... And if you need to have every single horsepower on tap wouldn't you have the valves open regardless?

According to Gintani, I will be getting 8-13 whp by only the rear section. Plus you are deducting significant weight.
