Prefer E90 but you have a ridiculous car!
I may expand my search to include E92 (cannot bring myself to consider E93), but as of right now I'm holding out for a car exactly like yours ... ... but an E90.
GLWS though you won't need it! Quote:

FYI ... I just missed on an E90 2011 M3 1 owner car local to DC area with 57k miles Red/Beige, 6MT for $25k with no mods. I have a preference for DCT, but I still went to take a look.
A BMW enthusiast recognized a tremendous deal and got there first and was smart enough to leave a deposit, so I guess I missed it by about 3 or 4 hours! Congrats to him for jumping on a fantastic car and the search continues for me ... please PM me with any leads based on my preferences. Last edited by br2wdc; 05-14-2020 at 07:06 PM.. Surprisingly it was listed on Craigslist ... part of the reason I missed it was I had recently stopped checking CL every day because good cars never seemed to be listed there, and of course this one shows up ...
I mentioned in another post I have missed on 2 local cars with no accidents on the Carfax (of course it could still have body/paint work done just not reported/showing on Carfax) for $25k or less that I either couldn't pull the trigger (2009 M3, E90, DCT, Grey, 63k miles, RB/TA done, 2 owners) or the one I just mentioned (2011 M3, E90, 6MT, Red, 57k miles, 1 owner) Last edited by br2wdc; 05-06-2020 at 11:34 PM.. Return to BMW Complete: 2011 BMW M3 E90 with DCT
Thanks to everyone who provided leads, but the search is over: I just purchased from a private owner a 2011 BMW M3 E90 with DCT.
It's been quite a roller coaster trying to find the right car but I'm glad I finally found it and the past 24 hours have been unbelievable; what a car! |

2011 M3 LeMans Blue Slicktop DCT 77k
Two owner car, 2nd owner purchased it from EAG five years ago which tells you how well it's been taken care of since Day 1
PPI revealed a few minor issues but overall they confirmed it is in outstanding shape. Le Mans Blue/Beige with options including DCT, Slicktop, iDrive, HiFi 676 with Sirius XM, heated seats, and PDC. Very few mods with the exception of the M Performance exhaust, TA have been done but not RB. Came with two sets of tires/wheels: the original 220M wheels with Continental DWS for winter, and Competition style (not OEM) wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports for summer. The 2nd owner was meticulous and careful about maintenance and it shows. Oil changes every 5k, maintenance completed well before mileage guidelines suggest. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement Last edited by br2wdc; 05-19-2020 at 09:56 AM.. Reason: TB to TA |

Thanks I feel very fortunate, but I learned my lesson and was prepared to move quickly on a good car.
I had swung and missed twice before but as you can see it clearly worked out Your car with IB is very similar and if you can post a picture please do. |
