With 95k on the clock and as my daily I can't say I'm too concerned about potential resale, but it is a valid point. I am more likely to keep it and track the car when I pick up my next daily.

Don't regret any mod in particular but if I absolutely had to pick one it would be the Bavsounds Ghost subs. They sound marginally better but I'm not sure the bang-for-the-buck quotient is there.

No just the grills. Luckily BMW got smart on the F series and the comp pack comes with Black by default.

Possible regret. I purchased front and rear Stoptech Trophy 6 piston up front and 4 in the rear. I'll probably track the car but probably still overkill for my needs.

I'm pretty light on mods, and the ones I do have compliment each other so it's just light touches. Not planning anything major aside from maybe a stroker but if that happens its still almost a year away.

My Biggest regret was NOT keeping it Stock and OEM, started with upgrading ZHP shift knobs, then BMW Performance CF Front Splitters & CF trunk spoiler, then CF sideskirts and CF Diffuser, then Pedals and matching painted front bumper reflectors,....and the list goes on......never ending............................................ .....................Should just left everything the way I first bought the car and would have save a LOT of $$$!!!

OEM exhaust mod, Arkym CF lip, and matte black kidneys/side gills have been my least favorite. All no longer on my car.

Cheap LED lighting package.
2 days in and everything started to flicker and die out.
Ended up replacing all 14 of them with the official BMW LED kit... never going cheap again!

I've gone back and forth with black & chrome kidneys.
With wheels, it's had TE37SL, TE37RT, and Black OEM 359s.
I recently switched all the exterior bulbs back to OEM, including Halogen Angel Eyes.

Currently, it's got OEM gloss black kidneys, OEM halogen angel eyes, and OEM black 359s, with every other M Performance accessory (sans interior trim since I have CF leather) except for exhaust, which has had Akrapovic Evo (which i love).
I still have my TE37RT and chrome kidneys should I ever want to change it up again.
Tastefully modded.

Has the Bulldog look that 94jedi so wishes!

Ordered the authentic part (and the right emblem) immediately and had the shop swap them out.
I have the same bootlid. I love it!

Only regret is my Alekshop backup camera that only wants to work during cool weather. During the summer it doesn't send a signal so I get a blank screen. Very happy with my other mods

Dinan exhaust, illuminated door sills, OEM c/f trunk spoiler, extended shift paddles, Stoptech BBK, Texas Roundel, LUX halo bulbs.

Interesting...I was looking at their unit. What backup camera would you have chosen instead?

I did 85% ceramic window film on my e90 like 6 years ago. The dreaded groove/line syndrome makes it look like the windows (which are down a lot in nice weather) are dirty all the time. Still prefer the look to 50% tint etc. but wish I’d done typical smoke tint because the lines wouldn’t be so obvious

Otherwise I have owned and modded enough cars before this one that I have not made the car worse with the changes I’ve made.

Edit: forgot one! Big regret: RD Sport front sway bar. Snapped leaving my driveway one day out of nowhere. Do not congratulate.

Replaced with Dinan bar.

Wheels are always changing though. That’s not a regret though, it’s fashion, I don’t wear 3 button suits either

#1 regret is changing all my interior lights to LEDs. Worked fine for the dome light, but when I did the rear footwell lights, it short-circuited something, so now not only do the rear footwell lights don't work, but neither do the fornt footwell nor the door lights. I wish I would have never touched the rear footwell lights (E93), because the front door LEDs and front footwell LEDs were working fine before I messed with the rear footwells.

And it seems like I have to reset a foot module or have it removed and reset or something to get it working again (some oddball fix).

Thus I have no footwell lights, and no downlights on the doors. Not happy.

Damn rear footwell lights causing all the problems...

There were a few isolated cases mentioned in the thread but they got swept away by the other posts real quick. Here's what I experienced. There's visible damage to the lip where it meets the bumper in pics 2 and 3. This was when it was brand new just out of the box. It can't be shipping damage because the only thing they got right was how well it was packaged.

Overall fitment of the lip on the bumper.

Using only double sided tape, here's the best fitment I can manage on the driver side.

This was the same fitment I had. I really didn't have any complaints because, really you get what you paid for. Lets be honest; 250 for an M3 lip. However, I did leave a review. I think i gave it a 7/10... cant remember. On the other hand, my lip came well packaged, quick, with no damages. I've had mine since his first batch (since last spring), its aquired a few scrapes and bumps, and held together well. Great price for something youre bound to bash up. Now that I've learned gaging the lip on road, I think Ill invest in a better fit and finish lip when the funds open up. Its all about mind set when it comes to this lip or anything cheap for that matter.
