Long long story made short...
Some may be aware of my P65 engine swap and the way too lengthy tuning process using the stock ECU...
After 7 months with Steve Dinan we finally were able to test at Thunderhill in November. Big thanks to Mike Benvo of BPM for partnering with Steve to get us back on track during that time!

Engine made good power, but we identified a couple of points that would remain compromises had we stopped there....They both related to the new ECU tune and DCT GCU not playing nicely. The first was we couldn’t get past the ECU stock 8400 redline. Not acceptable given this engine will run to 10K and we wanted to tune and limit to 9K...why leave that on the table.
The second, and unidentified reason- was a small rev dip during up shifts and then it would pick up again. The consensus was, and in a process of elimination, that this could possibly be clutch slip- that’s kinda how it felt- despite previously not slipping with the stock engine/ tune. We had however sent a lot more torque and power through it- despite the OEM clutch still being rated well within this amount.
So we replaced the clutch with an new SSP pack, ran it in on the road (imagine the looks)... and tested it on the dyno with some full throttle shifts. Unfortunately, the same rev drop was still there. Headed into the winter and tracks here closing until March, I decided to go all in rather than lose another 3-4 months waiting to test on track...
I’m now running it off a Motec M1 standalone with a sequential. (An update on that will come in about month once we get the harness/ tune completed).

So, here we are. My loss is your gain! My entire drivetrain is for sale ( the Do88 cooler and CF driveshaft are long sold)

2009 DCT TRANSMISSION, 34k miles, one owner car. Ran flawlessly and added a Do88 cooler and new filters about 5/6 years ago.
In last 500 miles: replaced both filters again and added a new Slon high volume sump pan. Paid about $1100 for that...
Comes with newly installed SSP 750 CP- 750ft/lbs clutch which was gently broken in for 500 miles on road and dyno. No track miles.
All new filters and SSP clutch install were performed by AR Motorsports in Portland. Feel free to contact them directly.
TOTAL DCT package as above- trans, new SSP clutch already installed, Slon pan: $5000. This includes crating and SHIPPING in CONUSA!

If you need a low miles, well maintained & cooled trans for a replacement or 'insurance' spare- this is it.

(Includes water/trans intercooler and lines as pictured. You can also have the stock OEM clutch pack plates (no obvious wear) and OEM sump pan if wanted).

Also including a new DCT shifter mechanism with only 500 miles on it (manufactured date 9/20/19). Replaced due to unknown fault/ broken part in the original one. Cost new $1150. includes knob and boot.

The YCW/MFactory CF driveshaft has zero NVH. Just some additional kick in the pants on WOT upshifts.
