It was purchased in Berkeley, CA at Weatherford BMW. The original owner then took the car to Dinan in Mt View CA where the S3 package was installed on the car at 3600 miles. The car then moved down to San Diego with the 2nd owner where it stayed for about 70,000 miles. The 3rd owner purchased the car while living in Texas and the car was shipped out to Texas. The 3rd owner then moved to St. Louis and brought the car with him. Once in St Louis, he did not drive the car much at all, let alone in the winter and it shows. The car is completely rust free as you would expect from a n original CA car. The car was in St Louis approximately 1 year when I purchased it and brought it back home to CA. There are no outstanding maintenance items, this is a turn key car. If I was going to keep the car the next item on my list would be to perform preventative maintenance on the brakes by replacing the rotors and pads. Currently, the brakes are in fine condition but I would rather replace them before they get to the point of requiring replacement. That is simply how I like to maintain my cars. There are two notable scratches on the car. One on the bottom side of the driver side side view mirror. The other on the driverside rear quarter panel. See the pictures for full details. The interior is in absolutely spectacular condition. It is very clean. Both vaders have intact bolsters with the drive side showing slightly more wear than the passenger side, as you would expect. However, the are no rips, tears or other material failures in either the driver side or passenger side bolsters. FAQ: Has the cooling system been replace? Yes What kind of tires and what is their condition? BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp and they are nearly new Does it have power seats? No Does it have heated seats? No Does it have a sunroof? Yes Have the RTABs been replace? Yes Has the car ever been in an accident? No Does the car have all the original body panels? Yes this is a complete numbers matching car Do you have the manuals? Yes Has the car been tracked? I can only speak for myself and I have not tracked the car Is the price firm or will you negotiate? I am willing to work with a serious buyer. Do you smoke, have kids or dogs that ride in the car? No to all of the above. The interior is in excellent condition. Who has done the work on the car? During my ownership the only shop to touch the car has been Performance Technic Can I get a PPI done? Of course, but the cost is yours. Will you ship the car? Not a problem, but again, the cost is yours. Has the CEL light come on for any reason? No Is this car SMOG legal in CA? Yes it is. The Dinan S3 package comes complete with a CARB number Does the engine burn more oil than a typical S52? No it does not. Has a leak down test ever been performed? Yes it has and all cylinders were within 1-2% loss Does the AC blow cold? Yes Have you taken the car to a dyno? No Do you have the Dinan serial number?
