Has anyone decided to coat there’s in wax or ceramic coating? I feel like the undertray paint will chip/flake off over time.

probably ppf then. wax or ceramix won't protect from chip or flake

Great question, I had the full package done to mine:
1) Deep cleaned
2) Polished
3) PPF'd
4) Ceramic Coated

I still have mine on and it still looks almost as fresh as the day I got it.. I have done nothing special to it except clean it and wax it occasionally. It's been 8 years now and ~50K miles? I live in New England and drive my car year round.. We have rough winters here. So kudos to Varis for building a good strong product.

Yes, Varis still makes them for the BMW E92/E93. Made to order in 2x2 CF weave. Lead time is 10-12 months. If your Mod Shop won't order them, go thru the Varis US Distributor Bulletproof Automotive in Los Angeles, CA.

If you don't want to wait 1 year, check the private sellers. There are usually 1-2 Varis undertrays available every few months.

Cheers

I ordered the 3D Design Rear Diffuser and the Varis Undertray for my BMW E90 M3 in Dec. 2022.

Does anyone know if the diffuser is 1x1 and the undertray is 2x2 CF weave, a mismatch?

Did anyone ever receive a Varis undertray in 1x1 CF weave?

Most BMW E92 Carbon Fiber installed is in 1x1 CF weave to match the BMW carbon fiber roof (1x1).

Cheers

The Visble side bolts or all the bolts must be blacked out saw some that were blacked out look 💯 X better TBH 🤷🏼‍♀️

The chrome bolts match the stock quad exhaust chrome tips. If you have an aftermarket performance exhaust then paint those bolts black.

Some are using rainbow decorative titanium bolts available on Amazon on their Varis Undertrays. There are about 24-30 bots all around. The installation bolts are separate and seem to be zinc coated.

Cheers

either way think they look off or out of place because the entire diffuser is black carbon 🤔

Bart@AUTOcouture ...When you installed the Varis undertray on a BMW E90 M3 what rear diffuser do you select? 3D Design? Does the CF weave match 2x2 vs 1x1?

Cheers
