Nice you sold the car, but if I’m being honest with you multiple people stated they wanted day time pictures and you never fulfilled that request. Sad.

You buy the seller on forums... Suspect frozen paint didn't hold well and it'd hurt his ad more than it'd help.

Not sure why you would go back on an old thread and post this. But if it does concern you so much. I was already in the works with multiple buyers and did not feel the need to redo pics.

Yeah you do buy the seller. That’s why there was half a dozen people vouching for me. You can check out the new owners pictures and you can see for yourself how the paint held up. It blows my mind how much time people have to post unnecessary things without even knowing the facts behind it. Not sure if you’ve seen the car in person before or how you would suspect anything from pictures that were taken a bit too late. Hell I may even post some daytime pictures for you to rub it in since you felt so compelled to talk out of your ass.

Yeah I was chuckling about this. If you’re serious and had reached out directly I’m sure more info could’ve been provided. Instead people just bitch or ask dumb ass questions in the thread (not even via PM) and then miss out. Which I guess is great reminder how incompetent half the population is.

Someone got a killer deal on a super distinct frozen M.

Then post them. Anyone who's unresponsive to questions and bumping their thread = Red Flag. But hey you have random people on the internet who 'vouch' with no liability.

I was a interested party but you didn’t seem to excited to sell it. Just wanted to give you a tip in to be a better communicator. Sad cause I liked the car and was interested, but I’m not going to throw 40k at you with no communication or effort

I was in the market for this car and even though I didn't end up getting it, the seller was very communicative and responsive. No one has to seem excited to sell a beautiful car.

Maybe he didn’t build a good rapport with you as a potential buyer and felt a better connection with another buyer?

If he had half a dozen potential buyers, he probably narrowed it down to a select few that he would have liked to own the car after him.

Exactly! If someone is so interested in the car, a PM was going to be sent anyway, and to most people that are ACTUALLY interested in the car, they would have sent me a PM asking for daytime pictures! Thank you for understanding my logic and yes someone got a smoking deal on a really nice frozen car!

Most of those people that replied on the forums, are well known in the M3 community and if they vouched for me/the car, their reputation is on the line as well. To some being known as a stand up person throughout the community is worth more than you would understand as "no liability". That is the whole point of being a good member of the community.

I will let the dozen other people I had an interaction with chime in here and give you some thoughts on me being a "better communicator".
