M3 Lease price
Ok, back in 04' I leased my M3 for 36 months 12k/yr 3800 out of pocket for 799/month tax included. The sticker price was $62500.
Does anyone think I can get the new M3 with 5000 out of pocket 36 months for $900/month? The sticker on the one want now is 63500. I figure an extra 100 per month is 3600 extra for the dealer and the extra 1200 down will take care of the price increase. Anyone? I don't mind waiting a few months for the hype to die down. The website quotes it at $1047/month. |

I don't know. I think your payment will be lower since they should knock a little off of MSRP, but I do not believe the dealer can just change the lease factors BMW Financial sets. They have incredible lease deals on most models right now. Unfortunately, the M3 is not one of them. Probably another reason besides the economy why so many are sitting on the lots. You can lease an M6 for about the same.

I'm paying $969 for 36 months with 3K total down on an e90 M3 with an MSRP of $63975. I'd say you can get close but the residuals have dropped 2% this month.

leasecompare.com has a better deal than BMW. My specs on an M3 sedan get me to an MSRP of $62,275. With a downpayment of $3500 the lease payment is $872. Add tax (minnesota) gets me to $928. Due at signing $4372

Yeah bro, maybe tax and license and thats it. 10,000 for a lease is beyond excessive, consider a purchase with that money down. Thats money that goes directly to the stealer.

what bugs me about the lease price of the M3 is that for not too much more, I could just finance it... and I think that's what I'm going to do. |

I dunno, I've noticed A LOT of ppl buying this car rather than leasing. In my situation, I don't like to have a car for more than 3 years max! So for me to buy this car, and take most of the hit in the first two years would kill my wallet. If your up for keeping it for 5+ years, it makes sense to buy. At the end of 3 years, I just hand them the keys to the old one, get the keys to a new one, and off I go!
So far, the best deal I've found is 5K down, 36 months, 10K/yr, $941/month out the door. Sticker is $64,175(guzzler included). Me thinks if I just wait till the summer hype is over I might be able to snag it at the 900 range, which is more of a less guilt issue for me. |
