2008 e90

51k miles, 6speed, premium pkg, nav, 19" wheels, silverstone with red interior. No tech pkg.
For sale at BMW dealer originally listed for $28,600. I've got them down to $26,400 at the moment.

Is this a decent deal? Hard to tell. I see a large spread out there.

The car seems to be in good shape, however it's a 4 owner car and I cannot confirm if the rod bearings or fuel actuators have been replaced. According to BMW service records, it has not been done unless it was taken to another shop. Given the mileage I'm guessing it has not been done.

Mileage is good for an 08 but I would swap out the bearings if I took ownership. I just like the piece of mind. The price is a higher than other 08s. Private seller would be the best value unless you can get the dealer to come down.

Agreed. What would be a good price from the dealer? $25k? Lower?

Just saw the post about an '08 vert with similar mileage at auction is $17-18k. That would put a vert at $22k ish retail. If all those assumptions are correct that would put the e90 I'm looking at way lower than $25k. Am I off base here?

You are not too far off. I would go no more than $25 but that is just me. Knowing that I need to put in another 1500-2000 for a RB install. I might even just step away from this car and look at other options.

10-4.

Yes continuing to look is an option on the table as well. No rush here. The one thing attracting me to this one is the lower mileage and the fact that it is local.

I don't think that price is too far off given the low miles. Since you aren't in a hurry, you can keep searching.

Still, an SSII/Fox Red 6MT E90 is a rare car. Sounds nice, but there are others out there
