How streetable are these on a DD? I'm sure initial cold bite is worse than say, the Stoptech pads for OEM brakes?

No sir, I believe that would require a different pad shape.

I kept them in for both street and track, as I was always too lazy to swap pads each month. They were fine for me on the street, made an occasional noise here and there but nothing extreme. Also, I never had any trouble with cold bite on the street, but of course I am not going to call these great street pads.

It is always a trade off with brake pads, if you want them to really perform out on the track, you better believe they will make some slight noise here and there on the street if you choose to leave them in. If you go with a pad that claims to be great for both... well there is no such thing.
