SOLVED: KW Clubsport Rear Height Adjustment Moving?
Hey guys,
Thought I'd ask some of you on the forums for some input. I've been trying to adjust the KW Clubsport rears and the top adjustment piece keeps spinning with the black threaded peice. Not sure what that is called but It is spinning with the spring, so I am having trouble adjusting the height in the rear. Any idea what to do to hold it in place? Or is there a rubber that keeps it from spinning freely? Please advise! ***SOLUTION*** Simply use a pry bar to push down on the spring to relieve the tension on the adjustment ring and turn. The adjustment ring should now spin freely without it moving with the lowering perch that the rear springs sit on.

If you don't mind scratching up the adjusters then you can use an oil filter wrench to hold it in place while you spin the adjustment spanner.
Otherwise, if you can get another friend and a throw away wheel bolt you can thread the bolt into the hub a little bit and put downward pressure on it. This will take some of the upwards pressure off the adjuster allowing you to spin it more easily.

Are there better rear adjustable perch design? I've looked at most vendors and can't find one that doesn't have OP's issue. I ordered the TC Kline but they have yet to ship so no feedback for that one yet.

Thanks guys, I'm going to try the method by holding the perchs with an oil filter wrench with a towel wrapped around it to hold it.

I found the easiest way to turn the adjustment ring without holding the perch.
Use a crowbar or pry bar to simply push the spring down and then turn. It should move freely if not then there is something wrong with the way your adjustment ring is threaded.
