Your E46 M3 to E9X M3 review

E46 M3's are really quite inexpensive nowadays... I think I'd like to get one also for track purposes and reserve the E92, with all its technology and gadgets, for my daily driving uses.

Had a great fun time with my E46 M3, it was excruciating letting her go especially when I began parting her out. But once I pulled the trigger on my E92 M3, all I have are smiles from cheek to cheek each time I pull her out of the driveway. The journey begins with my new E92 M3 Let the modding begin!

That's beautiful. I really do love that body style in a way I haven't come to with the new one. I love my car, but maybe its just that it hasn't been around as long that I don't have the same appreciation for it as the E46

That body style has lived for quite some time and wont die any time soon...
I would even rock the e36 m3 all day, tastefully modded

I've tried time and again to warm up to the E9X design but simply can't...it looks good in certain angles and that's it...with the E46-you could rock it in any color and still looks mint.

Each has its pros and cons, but IMO the e9X has much more going for it.

I still think the e46 m3 is one of the great BMW designs, but the e92 is as well. And the e46 m3 def doesnt look great in any color...phoeniz yellow is attrocious.

While I disagree that PY is atrocious (..I owned one! ), I DO agree that the E46 doesn't look good 100% of the time. I feel the same way about most cars. Everything depends on exterior/interior color choices, wheel choices, aero packages, etc.
