Question A-pillar cloth?

Hey guys,

I’m looking where to find the material they used to cover the drivers side a-pillar.
Is it a standard black suede? Or a special order type of cloth?
Any information is appreciated.

2011 M3 coupe.

Thanks!

It isn't suede. It is a special cloth.

I had a headliner re-done a few years ago, and I had to shop around for different upholstery shops before I found someone who could replace the cloth. The replacement cloth wasn't an exact match, but it was close.

This site appears to have some good options.

Thank you but unfortunately they only carry vinyl and leather, I wonder if I can rip of some headliner from a crashed M3? Or do they have that cushion glued behind the cloth?

You won't be able to remove the fabric and reuse it.

I suggest to shop your local upholstery shops, or check Ebay for a used set.

Yea that’s what a couple other guys said as well, and is now may main route, I just really hope an upholstery shop can get as close as possible or actually match the rest of the interior.
Thank you for your input!

The A pillar on my zcp looks like it has speaker grille material on it. Look for that. I have some that I got from parts-express. Check on its UV stability though
