Hopefully, this is as close as my e90 will come to snow for some time. Except for heavy snow, I prefer the e46 with Blizzak LM 25's to the X3 with all season tires. It brakes better, and it's about 700 pounds lighter.

The cold and snow is just relentless here. I have not driven my car in over a week. I am starting to twitch.

Wow - That is cold!

Here are my winter driving pics from coming home on Friday (poor quality as they were taken on my BB and I was concentrating on driving). There was 20 cm of snow on the Gardner and this section was not plowed yet as you can see from the tracks. I was pretty happy with how the winter setup worked. It was too dark when I got home to take any decent pics, and I put the M away in the garage for the weekend. Although we got more snow today, it looks like the roads are pretty clear here for the morning communte.

To 997tt: Beautiful wheels on the Porsche. How do you like it?

We got 10 inches of the white stuff here in CT during the day on Friday, and another 4 inches on top of that this morning. My M has just settled in for a long winter's nap. My Tundra is a tank in the snow though.

I've got to go throw another couple of logs on the fire... it's COLD outside.

Garage, gotta have up north. I am prob gonna get a stick on pan heater too just as a cya

-26F is cold, then add the windchill. It was in the -30's last week with windchill.

Believe it or not you get used to it and then 10-20F is like spring. It is kinda sad though

Nice pics. Looks like you live on Portage Bay. Great location. I am in Magnolia and the M3 has not left the garage in over a week. Does not look like I'll drive it for quite a few more days as well. It's killing me.

I think I met you at an Alfa track day this summer. I had a 325Ci and told you I was buying an M3.
