Careful with the magic eraser but, some say it's taken off the dye on their leather. Search the forums for it. I wouldn't use it any further.

If im in a hurry then i'll just use water and paper towels, but normally i use a good leather cleaner that also ph balances. I use this on everything from my wife's purses, to my shoes and car.

Those are abrasive and will ruin the leather. I would never use it except as a last-resort to remove a stain or mark.

I would be interested in Wingzero's technique. I have used a stack of clean steaming hot towels but they quickly cool down and if too hot they will burn your hands. It's a tricky technique, maybe a steamer appliance ?? |

1. Garment steamers, low pressure, but still steam 2. steam cleaners, high pressure, shoots out steam to clean surfaces both handheld, water reservoirs, electric plug, cheap (ish) |

For quick wipes, I just put hottest water I can handle into a bucket and wipe the wheel down with a microfiber towel. What's funny is that I see detailing videos, like AMMONYC, using all these chemicals and work brushing the leather to remove the dirt and grime. All I have to do is turn on the steamer, wrap the towel onto the attachment, and I get probably much better results. Oh did I mention NO CHEMICALS and almost instant drying time? |
