Im seriously considering turning down letting you guys wrap my car because of the lack of response and its simply not even close to professional, and I'd expected much more from a shop of your caliber and reputation.
I'd rather pay someone else to do it just because they will answer my questions.
While I can sense your frustration, I do have to ask...

"Have you called them directly with your questions or are you waiting for them to reply to an internet advertising thread?"

If you have/had genuine interest I would think you would call them up and they would gladly answer your questions. Now if you have done this and are still getting a cold shoulder then you should continue to hit them in every avenue possible until you get an answer (if one was meant to be gotten...)

Just trying to offer an avenue so you can ease your frustration...

Winner winner chicken dinner.

The purpose of this thread isn't to be a Premier Q&A session: it's to show off some incredible work while giving some information on a newer product. If you're interested in having work done to your vehicle and you're serious about it, call them up or email their customer support for a quote. If you're not willing to go through the appropriate channels to get good service: that's your loss. Their company is set up very well and they're very well established. In addition, it's tacky to ask for a price on something in an online thread.

Lastly, if you're so displeased with this company, their support, and their threads, please stay the hell out of them rather than coming in and complaining that the world isn't catering to you. Some of us actually enjoy seeing their pictures and documentaries on the lengths they go through for perfect results.

I have called them before, and gotten roughly the same response. Reason I am displeased is, I ask about a new product and its the same response every time. That is why I am frustrated. Believe it or not, I've had premier wrap my car before, back when they made trips down from Norcal. And their customer service back then, was MUCH better. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was able to give me a date, quote of how much it will cost and it was performed flawlessly. It held up many years and dozens of track days. Now that they have a local facility you would think its even easier, but its not when I can't get a clear answer. I do enjoy these threads and love the result, its no doubt they do good work but all I want to know is wat is the update on the windshield film. They had a film back few years ago they were offering to customers, then they scrapped because it was causing distortion or scratches, something like that. I am just wondering what about this one since our windshields are so prone to chips.

Long story short, we have tested a windshield protection film for a manufacturer from 5 years ago and there was just not enough durability for us at Premier to back it. Fast forward to 2010, we have been testing this new product by Prestige Films Technology who have developed a clear windshield protection film in late 2009. We have tested and used this product extensively and now are confident in its protective capabilities, but also its durability and clarity. One of our major concerns would be wiper scratches. To date, we have put over 15k miles onto our daily drivers and we do not see this as an issue. Below are some specs to the product:

Manufacturer: Prestige Film Technologies
Product: Diamond Fusion Windshield Protection Film
Warranty: 2 year 20,000 miles from bubbling, fading, peeling, purpling, and cracking
Thickness: 4.2 mils
Purpose: Minimize rock chips and road debris damage to maintain integrity of OEM glass
UV Rejection: 99.5%
VLT (visible light transmission) - 80% (factory glass is typically 82%-85%)
Heat Rejection: 10% TSER (total solar energy rejection - minimal heat rejection, but better than none)
**does not interfere with radar, am / fm, and other wireless signals

After extensive testing, we are confident in placing this product onto our customers vehicles. For those outside of our coverage area (norcal and socal), please direct your inquiries to Prestige for local installers - sales@prestige-films.com

Here are the photos!!!!

I need to get the Diamond Fusion Windshield Protection Film done on my windshield but have to take care of a couple of chips already. I'm gonna see what I can do to fill the chips in first then contact you guys. Is there any issues if I have chips repaired/filled in on the windshield then have the DFW PF installed??

awesome work as usual guys

Thus it is important to give to your installer(Clearfilm) the best finish to work with at the onset, here is a 2012 Nissan GTR Black Edition that was recieving a entire Satin Guard wrap by premier so all surfaces were corrected up to the point of LSP.

Nearly new piece of clay removing fallout on a "Brand new car".

"It is a new car..........what could you possibly need to do to it?" , as I hear this quite often this pic shows the reality of marring on even a "Brand new vehicle".

Car was much easier for Premier to wrap, some pics of the film layed down.

Another Porsche(2012 Speedster)that had factory defects in the finish in for clearfilm @ Premier, note DA sand scratches.

Wipedown and clay to start.

Paint finish measured with ultrasonic PDG on the bumper.

Metal panels measured with DFT.

Sand scratches removed.

A chip on the edge of of the "tow hook" opening happened while being towed, factory touch up and paint sticks utilized for the small repair.
