ECS replica front spliters

Decided to try out one of the inexpensive CF front splitter replicas, around $200 ish instead of $700.
Got from ECS, fitment was not exact of course especially on the left side. The small lips that wrap around the bumper going back to the wheel well are much thicker than the oem and are mostly where the gaps were.

After fitting up and getting close as I could, I filled in the gaps with black silicon and didnt turn out to bad.

Have you contacted ECS about the fitment? How you like them overall? I'm also thinking about these because I feel more comfortable about these being scraped or hit by road debris than the real ones. These would be cheaper to replace.

Looks ok. Do you have a full front shot?

Like the previous poster said, have you reached out to ECS?

Looks good. I got a pair at Xmas that had a defect in the clear coat. Returned without issue and just got another set (they were on back order). Yet to open them though. When I test fitted the original there was quite a gap between the top portion and the splitter and the black portion of the duct. Hoping the new ones fit better. I do have a clear bra on though. Not sure if that plays much of a role in fit. I hope not.

I'd say that's decent fitment. Just use some rubber weatherstripping to prevent it from rubbing or rattling against the paint, and to hide the gap a bit.

Hmmmmmm. I was planning on buying these, but oem is still not worth the extra 500 for something little like that.

Sorry ment to get back with ya, yea ill get a front shot. With tape and the two screws on the bottom they do not rattle or move at all even without the black silicone. But you really need to use it to fill in the gaps. left side was off pretty bad and right side had pretty bad gap as well just in different place.
No didnt bother contacting ECS about it, just figured when you order cheap replicas thats something to be expected.
