Yes but they are not in good shape. That is the problem here. I think that's what everyone's point is. If you post the original pics detailing all the damage it would be a totally different story. HIGHLIGHT the bad stuff. That builds confidence in the buyer of a big ticket item. Imagine if someone had these shipped and received them? I can tell you as a police officer I'd be pissed and certainly want to return them. I offered you 3.5k originally. You wanted 4K. Learning that these are not salvageable even with the color issue, the fact that any good upholstery shop is going to charge 1k per seat, and the fact that they don't have the required heater kit to make them truly plug and play heated seats made my rethink my offer. Add to that, you didn't know if the seats needed to be coded in the car. You said they didn't because your car came that way. Again, find out first before making the statement.

No doubt the shell is in good order, I just don't like the misleading information along the way. For example, don't post that you paid 14k and an extra 1k to have them custom covered, or hide damage, or not know if the seat heaters work. Be honest and truthful and people will buy them for sure.

I knew these seats were fucked as soon as I saw the pics and how he tried to hide the damages.

Looks like decent used seats with some wear.

The fact that they were modified (leather + blue stitch) makes them way less valuable to most including me, unless you find a buyer that wanted them exactly this way I doubt you'd get your reduced asking price.

FYI these sold for much less brand new at ECS, who ever paid 14k at iND was a sucker.

IND had bought out the BMW warehouse of these seats when there was only like 10 pairs left. Then they were the only ones that had them, so thats how they were able to sell them for 14k. It's called supply and demand.

These seats were in fact around 2400-2700usd each when they were in production and commonly available.

are you serious? that is a freakin steal for those seats when you consider the plug and play package that they are. I would expect them to be 6 grand each from BMW the way they price M performance parts.

you have to remember about inflation, these seats came out like a decade ago. Even the price of cars have gone up.

People are kinda slow. Recaro did not replica anything company ask recaro to make a set for them I have these same seats in my z that came as an option to the 370z nismo with airbags and all. Paying 14k for just the bmw logo is kinda retarded
