Help w/ OEM Rear Seat Cover for E90

The accessory is a custom cover for the rear seats that fits into the front and rear headrests and also has little tabs to secure it around the seats and under the seat belt. It also comes with two panels designed to cover the door so that only the back window is exposed. I got it in order to take my dog around from time to time, but I can't quite figure out how the door panels are supposed to attach to the car. Has anyone used this accessory that can help. Thanks. Item description below.

"Universal Protective Rear Cover - Protect the interior of your vehicle when transporting objects or pets in the rear passenger area, with a washable cover that resists dirt and water. Can be used on one or both sides of car. Available in gray (PN: 52 30 0 391 107)"
