Having the chance to ride in a few supercharged e90 M3's and driven one, all that is apparent is that the twin turbo setup is perfect! The turbo's kick in so early and the powerband is smooth! Instant HIT spinning the dual 315 wide patches at the rear! I guess in a way you could compare the ttv8 to a positive displacement 5.0..in a way but better lol I can't disclose hp/tq #'s but for the guys waiting for this kit, the wait will be worth every penny even the low boost setup on pump(which is what I had the opportunity to experience). Then the fact that when the hood is popped, with black intake mani and untrained eye, engine bay looks stock. The drivability in traffic at slow speeds was flawless.. I can't say enough positive things to describe the flawless characteristics of the car from civil to satan at the press of the throttle. Amazing!
This is great news and a great report. Sounds like they're making really good progress and many of us can't wait to see it on the road and competing at the airstrip events.

Probably something in the 6-10 psi area, fairly standard for your stock N/A to FI motor boost levels.

PSI for the low boost kit will be in the 7psi range on 91oct. Nothing is set in stone and I'm sure more boost can be had with higher oct, E85 or meth injection.... Just the memory of the freight train surge that ttS65 now has gets me excited. The S65 is an amazing motor by itself. Now matched with the right sized turbos, the S65 has livened up and the power band is immense as you would only expect. I want to keep writing all the positive, exciting feelings their car has given me lol.... but I'll stop... I see no initial down sides other than needing large rubber out back. As I previously stated, the 315 Nitto drags were calling for back up as they were slain across the hot, dry cali asphalt lol

Last time I heard it was running 7psi, on stock internals. Even with the low boost, it is putting down more than stage 2 SC power.

In unrelated news, Gintani is working on an AWD kit for the E9x M3.

It will be interesting to see how well they can scavenge heat from the turbos, and how well the stock internals (connecting rods/bolts) handle the low/mid range torque and extra cylinder pressure. Those are two areas to watch as sales start and more miles are put on the kit.

I don't understand why people think wider tires will help with straight line grip, it really doesn't do much. The important thing there is the diameter, which is why dragsters have such tall tires.

It was 7.8 psi to be exact... They have a interior vid of the car running on the street on instagram. This is what a teaser is suppose to be...little stuff here and there, keeping us on the edge of our seat. I notice that now its up and running the negative have gone way down.

I don't know if people saw the video, but this was the turbo car ripping on the freeeway... i know the christmas lights are on, i wondered the same thing. i called and asked i think it was because the steering wheel rack isn't aligned, this took place a week ago, so i would have to double check
