Wheel Stud Help?
Hey folks,
Bought my 2009 sedan used last year and am planning to do a tire rotation, but the wheel nuts have me scratching my head. From the pic, it looks like 10-9 is the the grade / alloy and 12-1-50 represents the metric dimensions of the wheel stud and its associated thread. I did a bit of browsing through the common vendor websites and I haven't had any luck identifying the type appropriate socket to use. Doesn't look like a typical hex socket or a torx e-socket. Can anyone help? I'll probably swap these out with a more standard metric size nut (??) when I do the rotation just for simplicity sake. Thanks. |

They look like some source of aftermarket wheel locks. I remember seeing Gorrila has those 6-Splines type of Lug Nuts so you could start searching for those.
BTW, where did you get your car from? Maybe reach out to the Previous Owner/Seller and hopefully they could help? Also look in the glove box or trunk to see if there is a key somewhere. |
Appreciate
