Okay my main concern is the tire filling out the wheel gap so it creates the illusion of looking lower. Also, I prefer the quieter tire, but if they're both close in road noise I'll take the INDY 500 tires. So which tire will fill out the wheel gap better or are they the same? I'm going to go 275/30/19 square.

I assume you have studied the specs of each tire at the tire rack website. If you have not, doing so would be a good learning experience for you.

A quick glance at the Tire Rack page shows that the Firestone tire has a slightly more squared-off sidewall than the Michelin, which would make it look a bit wider. Overall diameter is the same.

You know you're already at a disadvantage in regards to filling out your wheel gap by choosing a 275/30/19 right? That tire is smaller than the stock 35 profile tires.

A staggered 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 will fill out your wheel gap the best. Not sure how set you are with a squared setup.

I have the indy 500s and do like them, a little on the slick side in the rain on asphalt with higher tar content. I run M359's with 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 for front and rear. I wouldn't go 275/30 as the speedo is already off with the tire being small with the factory 265/35/19 size and worse with the GTS 285/30/19.

This is true. I've compared my tires to the Michelins in person. And everybody always compliments how nice my tires look compared to when I had Michelins.

I found them slippery in the rain as well. I had the rear step out at 60 mph in mild rain with near full tread on less than quarter throttle.

I do like these tires a lot (never rains here), same fitment as you. They punch way, way above their weight class and become very good with more heat in them. I have a second set of rims with R-comps for track work, MPSS and PS4S start chunking and get greasy, feels like throwing out money to spend a lot for tires with the intention of double duty.

Stock ZCP rims need 255 and 275 with a 35 ratio.

I do think the indy 500s would fill out the wheel gap better than the PS4S at the recommended sizes.

Bridgestone (Firestone) tires all have very stiff and thick sidewalls.

Enjoying these much more than the MPS.

The Michelin's are great when they are new, but as soon as they age, get hard, or wear to the harder compound, traction is an issue.

I have the Indy's down to 3/10ths on the rear and the traction seems consistent from new.

Also comparing track duty, I don't see the front outer tread edge destruction that many experience with the MPS. As a result I'm able to run a lower PSI on the fronts and make sure I have that contact patch. Overall value and looks of this tire, 100% happy.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't experience issues with the MPSS as they wore down, but I guess we're all sensitive to different things.

It is nice to hear that the shoulders are more resilient for track use.

I ended up going with the INDY 500s 275/30/19 front and 285/30/19 rear. The 30 profile looks really nice!

I am on the fence between PS4S and Indy 500s for a square 275/30/19 setup on my 359s. I have been really happy with my 255/35/19F and 275/35/19R PS4S so far. Great traction, great mileage and great grip from the PS4S.

Anyone gone from PS4S to Indy 500s?

Unfortunately, 275/35/19 will not fit on the front with 10" 359s at stock ZCP ride height. The tires rub when trying to turn... Even my 255/35/19 PS4S with 15mm spacers will very slightly rub when turning.

Everything I have read says that P4S is a better all around tire than Indy 500. It’s also lighter. A lot of people don’t look at tire weights, but for street tires, you will find Conti and Michelin may weigh as much as 20% less than some other tires. Indy 500 is cheaper and may work just as well for some people’s needs (like a warm, dry weather street/track tire where a little more tire noise is acceptable).

275 fronts on stock 359? No rubbing issues?

I use 275/30-19 PS4S on square 220M 9.5" ET23, with a 12.5mm rear spacer this year for funsies.

The Indy 500 is definitely good bang for the buck. Little slippery in the wet as stated, but damn they are good in the dry!!! And for the price? Hell yeah.
