Hello all and welcome to my build thread!

Some background on the car:
2011 JB Stripper E92 M3
30k Miles
No Nav
6MT
Carbon roof
Black leather w/ Pad. silver inserts
No heated seats/no power seats
No EDC
No accidents

Now, I had been looking for a very particular car for quite some time and to be frank.. black wouldn't have been my first choice! This car popped up via the forum and I would've beat myself up if I didn't at least take a look at it. Long story short - This was pretty much the only low mileage 6 spd single hump I could find that was a fair price (IMO) so I pulled the trigger and we start here!

I bought the car with 29k miles, bone stock + a 4.5 year warranty! The car had its share of imperfections and the paint was honestly a solid 4/10. Looked as if the car was cleaned with a cement block and dried with a sandy beach towel. Otherwise, I can happily say the interior looked to be near a 9/10 from the start.

Step 2:

REVIVE THE PAINT!

As I stated, this paint was absolutely atrocious to my standard. The car is always garage kept under my ownership now lol. Had a full paint correction + ceramic pro silver to add so much more depth as well as protection to the paint.. man did it come out good! I'd give the paint about an 8.6/10 when all is said and done due to minor imperfections.

I also felt in this time it would be nice to swap out the old and very worn down inner tail lights with fresh OEM inners + genuine GTS door sills.

I wanted to do this build right as I learned the hard way with my previous e46 m3's..

Step 3: PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Decided to go ahead and contact the best of the best in the tri state area - AutoCouture! I need to add, these guys are 10/10 in how they run ALL operations over there. I'm very pleased to be working with such an outstanding group of guys in this build, true enthusiasts and very down to earth. customer service is on point and turn around times are beyond efficient.

Went ahead and got a full fluid flush + rod bearings completed for peace of mind. had some warranty work done as well to make sure everything was 100%

Thanks man!! have a few of the exterior cosmetic bits on - when the car comes back from acm i'll fit the front lip/diffuser/pedals. i'll keep this posting pic heavy

I'd keep it stock-ish given the miles and spec but that's just me. Congrats on the unicorn and enjoy.

For those wondering - I do plan to keep this build N/A! Exhaust/manifold/tune will come in the future along with sway bars and a BBK.. certainly plan to re-fresh the interior to my taste as well. My bank account currently hates me so this build will continue slowly

Unfortunately, I personally can't comment on the ohlins as I haven't picked up my car yet. Still have a few hundred miles left of break in for the rod bearings so I'll get back to you in both aspects - ie. ride quality & handling compared to stock.
