Old black sock, cut end off then roll it on the reservoir. No leaks

Yes that works but it's a band aid, safety risk, etc. I have the new reservoir/filter and may as well throw it on, just need help with the step down adapters.

Turner Triple Baffled Power Steering Reservoir

Sorry to revive an old thread saw this Turner aluminum power steering reservoir and didn’t see any reviews. Was wondering if anyone has tried this yet and had any feedback. Looks like it has a removable mesh filter. I wonder if you can just pull that out and clean it during fluid flushes. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-turner-m.../004898la01kt/

I ordered one to check it out. Thanks for sharing and I'll let you know my thoughts upon receipt.

The turner version looks nice and being direct fit is a plus. Someone should take it out on the track to see if the baffling keeps the fluid in better than the two OEM options.

Note that I found some nice and affordable reducers from ICT billet for adapting to the active steering reservoir:

I ended up just getting new hoses (from Rein IIRC) for both the active steering and stock applications and cutting them to the right lengths and then pinch clamped the aluminum reducing adapters in place. It is a pretty clean and very robust setup and it lets you adjust the hose lengths a bit if desired.

Hi DRLane, did you get a chance to test the Turner reservoir?
