BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 30,000.00

Item Interest
Feeler: 09 M3 DCT sedan with 50K miles with rebuilt title: Whats a reasonable price?

I see similar clean carfax models in the 30K+ range.

Assuming all updates, services and excellent conditions - whats reasonable?

I'd say 22-25k is reasonable

Likely depends on why it was totaled and the quality of the repair. Impossible to say without that kind of information.

I'd ask the same question - why does it have a rebuilt title? Accident, flood, theft, idiotic insurance company, etc. etc.? Even better if you had photos of the accident damage (if it was an accident)

Exactly. If it were flood damaged, for example, I would not give you a $1 for it. Not worth all the headaches that will undoubtedly show up.

Also, is it actually a rebuilt title or just a salvage title? Big difference but many people use them interchangeably, and they are not even close to the same.

I would never pay a dime on a rebuilt title, meaning I would always skip on those iono I may be biased

Depending on what happened 20-23k for me.. honestly I once had a car with just minor damage on carfax and it took forever to sell.. the other issue is people can't finance a salvage/rebuilt title as most banks won't loan in them.. you have to find someone willing to pay cash
