Lowering springs 08 E93 w DCS

Reviving this old thread ... what is everybody using nowadays to drop their E93's ?
We just bought an 08 M3 E93 6MT and one of the first mods will be lowering it, has to be done .
Any input?

H&R here with 20x9 F 20x10.5 R

It's low but looks right, IMO, with no wheel gap.

Rides well. You will experience a difference, as you can imagine, over bridge transitions or uneven pavement but it's to be expected when you go this route.

Initially wanted to go Swift but they weren't specifically engineered for the e93 only the e90/e92.

Actually purchased them and returned them after speaking to the guys at Swift.

Would have probably gone with Dinan if the drop was more significant since I have all the Dinan bolt on's.

Either way, happy with the H&R.

Any particular reason why you went with H&R and not eibach's ?

Coin toss really but I did like the additional (yet minimal) drop of the H&R. Had both sets on previous cars so I knew I couldn't go wrong either way.

Reviving as I didn’t want to get flamed for starting a new thread.. my question is the vert e93 stock sits lower in the rear than the front and it drives me mad. I’ve seen some verts in my city lowered very low and the rear looks lower than the front too , no idea what they used coils or springs but still the front sits a bit higher. What springs have the front lower than the rear especially when the top is down and sitting in the trunk adding weight.. my research has lead me to believe the hr race springs might be the ones or street? Eibachs from pics look like th front has more gap than the rear.

coming from a evo x and s2000 (hks sp 16k f/r) with full solid mounts as a daily car.. the bmw is still too soft for me even with the edc stiffest settings

From EAS the race springs are for the sedan and coupe. the sport springs have a e93 m3 option. anyne have hr race with a vert. do they take into account the massive weight of the roof when down sitting in the rear. i cant see how the springs are the same in a coupe and vert.

I'm glad I came across this thread! was hoping someone could give me advice. I don't intend to "lower" the vert. I actually appreciate its ride height and plan to keep it close to stock/oem as possible. What shocks does everyone recommend for the vert? I do not track it, it's my Daily and I enjoy spirited driving from time to time.
