I think you're better off going to EAG. Honestly i've been there and their cars are second to none. You'll pay 100k+ but what you're looking for is basically impossible to find. Maybe less than 100 cars in north America would fit that criteria, of those how many are for sale ?

edit: also Udrive in Pensylvania has nice cars, they had a Santorini Blue a few months ago for 70k USD with like 8k miles on it or something.

This exact car was as low as $55k CAD this past summer at Plaff Vancouver if I remember correctly. They started at $69k asking and dropped it all the way down to $55k then it ended up at this dealer for $90k. If it didn't sell at $55k, not sure why they think they can get $90k.

I contacted EAG, but even their low mileage cars (ie 5000 miles) seem to have quite a few imperfections from driving on US roads. A bumper respray isn't the end of the world (not ideal at their price points), but the rock chips on the hood would bother me (I'm OCD) and I wouldn't be okay with respraying the hood. With paying that much, I'm sure someone in Canada would be willing to part with theirs. Ideally from BC - least rock chips. Again, not in a rush - looking for the perfect one that will be kept for many years to come.

The Santorini I think was up for $90k USD. I am keeping an eye on Udrive though, thanks!

I understand what you mean, I have the same OCD. I've seen a few pop up on Carvana as well, maybe worth a look, there was a 7k mile Silverstone 2012 for 54k USD on there, which I think isn't a bad deal either.

Thanks for sharing. Great collection. I reached out via email and he replied saying none are currently for sale.

Saw that, but I was too late it was already reserved. Will keep an eye on there though, thanks.

At close to $100k Cad, it better at least be a comp with a better interior colour and the updated idrive. Even if its $100k or is closer to 10,000 kms, rather pay a few thousand more to get what I want. Lot's of choices once you reach $100k. (ie 997 turbo is not far off).

To be honest that low mileage space gray has nothing special at all other than low mileage.

If about same price, I would rather buy any individual color with less than 100k km than choosing that low mileage space gray one.

It's getting so difficult to find the m3. I was stuck hard on a 6speed but I'm beginning to think maybe I should start considering a dct w'carbon roof. I'm really hoping it opens up a bit in the next month.

Agreed. Sparkling graphite is nice, being an 08 exclusive colour but everything else about it is not great besides the mileage. Even if you put a couple thousand K on it per year, once it hits 20-30k kms, it won't be worth nearly as much as an individual colour with more kms.

Both are great transmissions in their own ways. As I'm getting older I prefer to drive slow and just enjoy rowing through the gears.. Personal preference though, some people only want DCT. Have you driven both?

The car market is still crazy (not just M3s), but at the same time I see a lot of cars sitting at largely inflated prices, with dealers/sellers not willing to lower the prices to a point where the cars will actually sell. A lot of used cars are just selling between dealers. Do you all think this will continue for another year or will we see the car market slow down with the increase in rates coming in March/the war/everything starting to go back to normal-Covid wise.

I have driven both, I must say I was expecting the dct to be very much like my 435i which had the zf. However, I was blown away at how much more aggressive, responsive and fun it was. I really haven't driven a 6speed since my g35 and my first love which was my mr2. All in all, I too would rather mow through gears, but I am strongly starting to consider a dct, especially if the price is right.

I'd also like something with under 70-80kms, as I wont be selling the m3 for at least 10plus years if at all.
