Alright, I finally put everything together and took the first drive tonight.

Here is the verdict:
- The car now drives like a dream, no clunk whatsoever, no vibration (I only got up to 75 mph, don't judge me you don't know which road I was on ), no weird noise, as a matter of fact the drivetrain is now much more quiet. And this is the best part: the 6MT transmission now shifts smooth like butter, no jerkiness from gear 1 to 2 (which I frequently got) and I feel increased torque across all gears especially the higher ones.

Attached are some pics showing the final clearance after installation, including how far the CV extended after both ends are fully torqued.

Thanks Mfactory for an excellent product!

Does anybody who is getting one of these have a VBOX or solo2 DL or something? I think it'd be fantastic to do, say, a top gear or 4th gear pull from 30mph to 80mph on the same stretch of road before and after and log the difference, if any, the driveshaft makes to acceleration. I bet there's at least a tenth or two of a second advantage in in-gear acceleration over that kind of spread

Could do it with Harry's but it's so difficult to get good GPS data from that and I don't have any of the other fun stuff like an OBD logger or whatnot that gets actual vehicle sensor speed

Honestly I'm most excited about the prospect of not looking like a total noob so often if I don't do the footwork perfectly on the 1-2 shift, lol, almost 9 years with this car and I still can't always get it right

It's quite straight forward. You definitely need to either let the rear exhaust hang or remove it completely to create sufficient working clearance.

Flex joint end with guibo go in first, then push the CV joint into the diff with some massaging.

Yup I feel you, with CF shaft even if you don't get it right the jerking is very mild as if you're riding a motorcycle. With the OE shaft, it feels like I'm damaging the gearbox & drive train every time I don't get it right.

I second this question. I spent $3500 this month on my car and have $2500 earmarked for next month. I'd like to get in on the group buy but don't really want to have to lay the money out for a couple months.

Once production has started, it will generally takes around 4-6 weeks. Pre-orders will end once they are ready to ship.

When do you anticipate production to start? Just curious - I'm on the list already & definitely in.

Thanks!

Ok so kindly to confirm: I have about 1-2 months to get in on the pre-order "group buy"??

Timing-wise for me too, I just bought some rims, so money is tight, but I do want this ASAP.

You don't need anything. Just make sure you can get the car high enough off the ground.
