Fact 1 - there will be no 2014 e92/e93 period.
Fact 2 - end of production for e92 is June and e93 September. Your dealer is full of it if he/she is telling you BMW is stopping e92/e93 production this week.
Fact 3 - BMW DOES have a set and solid schedule they follow. That's why they put SOP (start of production) and EOP (end of production) dates for each model and model year.

wow wow wow....calm your horses

First of all, I did not pass it as fact.

And, I said they MIGHT sell the last batch as MY2014. If you got the info saying there will be no M2014 E92. alright there you go.

I admit that I might have interpreted what the dealer said incorrectly. when my dealer told me they are stopping E92/E93. He really means BMW will no longer take any orders starting next week instead of terminating the entire production line of E92/E93.

And When I said they dont have a set and solid schedule, I meant the timeline of the models, not the SOP and EOP dates. e.g. the years of E46 is shorter than E36 and E9x

Can you please accept my apology, enigma01 and other readers

If any of this were true don't you think Bimmerpost would have featured a thread on it?

They have been doing an excellent job so far of keeping everyone in the loop on the latest developments

3:43 am Munich

Can't sleep. E92 M3 pick up tomorrow at the Welt. Car was built last week.

From the tours taken today the S65 motor will be the last of the hi-performance NA motors from BMW. This is the car to get.

I agree, they have been announcing BMW bulletins pretty up to date.

HOWEVER. I have received bmw bulletins before bimmerpost's news feeds, and I know Bimmerpost doesnt post everything.

e.g. I dont remember bimmerpost posting Welt was low on wheel style189 inventory. Therefore, they force dealerships to add alternative wheel options.

I will try to get the bulletin for you guys next week

I sat in both the F30 335i and E92 335i today.....

Sorry for saying this, but the quality of F30 is considerably worse compare to the E9x.

I feel the same way. Plastics don't feel as nice or soft.

Your dealer seems to have the correct info from everything I've read. Not sure what the OP's dealer is claiming but June was the end of production last I've beard. If your dealer has allocations left I'd jump on it and place the order!

Amazing that even at the end of a 6.5 year model run, the M3 is still the benchmark for its class. I am 21 months of ownership and there is really no other car I would realistically like to own in my life right now. It just suits all my driving wants and needs so perfectly.

Glad I got mine when I did. . I'm sure the new M3/4 Fx will be an awesome car.

I just love listening to that V8 shriek, though.

Garage List
I had regrets when I traded-in my E46 M3 for the E92 M3. But not anymore. This car has a classic engine and maybe the last of its kind. I wouldn't call it a collectors' car but definitely you can pride the ownership.

I think the dealers will sell any fib to get a sale. Hook, line and sinker
