repairing instrument cluster ? gauge face swap gone bad
anyone or know anyone who repairs clusters....?
i borked my tachometer somehow upon needle reinstallation...i opened the white servo on the backside of the board and reset the small worm gear with no positive effect... before i spring $$$ for a virginized cluster from ebay or BPM, does any know if those servos can be replaced...? i see a few commercial outfits like the once mentioned above but their repair costs are nearly the same as an PnP ebay cluster... any tips or direction would be most appreciated... addendum: cluster fixed...pics for clics Last edited by valve float; 10-26-2022 at 09:46 AM.. You might may just want to buy a cheap cluster off ebay for parts.

I know this is an old thread, but how hard was it to replace the motor? I assume I need to solder, I'm just afraid to break it more and I can't find much online for this.

Very tasteful upgrades to your M3 interior...some I also have done.
I like the km/hour speedo gauge face. 330 kph!!! Autobahn numbers. Cheers |
