Can I run higher than 285 in rear on 20X10.5

I just got my new wheels (COR forged) and have put on Michelin PS2s 285/30 in rear but the wheel lip sticks out more than the tire and I'm not happy with the look. Can I run a wider tire without rubbing issues? maybe 305 ?

I'm dropped on H&Rs and looks like I have room but I'm not sure how it will be once they settle in.

Also my concern is about the ratio between front and rear tires since I'm running 245s up front?

It all depends on your offset. I have 19x10.5 +20 rear wheels. I am lowered on H&Rs and my 295/30/19 Hankooks don't rub. You might be able to do a 305 if your offset is +25 or higher.

I had 295s with that same wheel and no problems at all!! I´m now going with 19" 305s.

305/30/19 would be perfect for 10.5" wheel. Just make sure the offsets are not TOO aggressive so you don't rub. I'm still not 100% sure if I'll rub with 285/35/19 10" +20

Can 285/35/19 fit in the stock 19" rims?
