19" Volk VR G2 wheels

Some advice from some of you experts or experienced people out there for 19" Volk VR G2 wheels on an E92 M3.

What rim width would you go with front and back? 8.5/9.5 or 9.5/10.5?

Second question what size tire would you go with? I'm looking at Michelin Supersports.

Thanks

I ran 8.5 and 9.5 on my E46 M3 and E86 M Coupe and those sizes are ideal and recommended for those cars. I would go 9.5 and 10.5 for the E92 M3. I am actually running E46 M3 sizes on my E92 now with spacers and am going to be buying new Volks this week.
Plus I would look at 265 and 285 on tires for 18s. I am going with those sizes on my new Volk TE37s. I am running CE28s now.

I am looking for them for my E92 M3 as well in the 19" wheel size. What tire size would you be looking at for the 19s?

Where are you getting your Volks from? I am looking for a good vendor.

My car, 19x9.5 ET22 Front and 19x10.5 ET25 Rear. Fit 265/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear with ease on stock camber, no rubbing. Picture shows 295 in the rear, worked okay but 285 worked better. Hope this helps.

Wow! Seeing that pic makes me want order tomorrow! Looks very nice. Thanks for the info. How is the ride and road noise with those size tires?

IMO ride and road noise is determined not only by tire size but also by the tire compound itself. But when I ran them with PS2's, they were okay. my 18" with Conti ExtremeContactDW's ran more comfortably (very comfy tires, and pretty good performance too), but I don't really find it all that much worse than 18". My Recaro Pole Positions ruin everything though, even stock shocks on stock and Eibach springs became rough.

One more thing, mine are Volk G2 face 2, I dunno if they sell face 2 in BMW fitments anymore.

See my signature for the Volk Wheel and tire sizes I use. My tires required maximum camber to fit them but I love them. Yokohama's are wider than other tires.

Looks great and I told him the more conservative but 295 looks sweet.

If you get the 10.5 rear make sure to get the +25 offset otherwise you will have trouble finding tire widths that won't rub. I have TE37 10.5 with a +22 offset and my 295 PSS rub but I am lowered as well. My .02.

the VR G2 is no longer available in the Type II face that @LateBraking has.

The best fitment/specs would be:
Front: 19 - 9.5 et22
Rear: 19 - 10.5 et25

for tires, I would recommend going with the 265/30-19 and 295/30-19 on this set up or the 255/35-19 in the front from Michelin Super Sport
depending on tire brands 255/35 and 285/35 will work great too! But 265/35 tends to be too high in the front.

My apologies. I thought you were talking about 18 inch Volks. I am going away from 19s. Not a fan anymore.
