Front sway bar
Adding a front sway bar like the Dinan sway bar, it would increase more oversteer because there's more grip in the front now right?
I'm running 245/295 tire setup right now. The rear grip feels great, and I feel there's just a tad of understeer but I'd like to keep this setup if possible. Would I benefit by adding the front sway bar? Does anyone know if RDSport sells their front sway bar by itself? Anyone know where to purchase RDSport sway(s)?

Cheapest way to upgrade your sway would be getting E93M3 sway. It's slightly thinner than Dinan (I think 24mm vs 22mm) but you can get it for about 1/2 price. But it's stil 2mm thicker than stock.

The 245 tire is what is killing your balance. 295 is a huge rear tire, it should be mated with a 265 up front.
I think a upgraded front sway might help, but it also might NOT because you have alot of grip in the back and making the front more stiff. I know you said you want to keep your current tire set up, but IMO, I would change your front tire first and then see if you still want to upgrade the front sway bar.

+1. you got a super staggered setup which is what is causing your understeer problems. Go with a thicker tire up front and you should notice a huge difference.
Shoot me a PM if you want pricing on a RDsport sway bar though |

I wouldn't mind going 275/30/19 but I'm using AD08's and someone said they rubbed on the spring with my exact setup..
9" +22 What about 255/35/19? Think that will make a difference?

Try the AD08s in 265/30/19. I think there are a few members running that size up front.

I'm on eibach springs. With 265/30 my car to me will look wrong and not lowered. I don't want tires that have a really small diameter over stock --- just looks weird to me.

You can try a 255/35, but it might rub. The AD08s are square tires as Im sure you already know. Adding a front bar IMO will actually make the understeer worse with your current tire set up, but I have been wrong before.

I have 255/35/19 PS2 (26" OD) on a 9" wheel ... and it only rubs a little, under full lock and some speed ...but not if you go slow under full lock.
Then again, I have the H&R springs and your Eibachs should be better cause they are not as low. BTW, my 255/285 setup feels close to neutral ... although I would have preffered a 265 or 275 up front. |

Yeah I know 255/35/19 will rub on full lock on the fender liner which I can accept.
Someone else said he had 275 NT-05's up front on the Advan RS 9" +22 and he rubbed on the spring or something which seems more serious and not acceptable. I really would like to go 275 up front, I could only imagine it would feel awesome but I'm afraid of rubbing on the spring I do not want to use spacers as I seem to have a slight vibration problem I can't get rid of as of yet (going to balance it once more and see if that fixes it), spacers seem to amplify my vibration issue. Any advice?

The AD08s run very square and wider then most typical 255s.

Maybe someone with 245/35/19 NT-05's on a 9" rim could comment on if it's slightly stretched or if it runs perfect on the 9" wheel. My 245 AD08's are slightly stretched showing a bit of lip.

Is it just with that specific front right or left wheel? Was it there before on any other wheel? Did it show up after changing tires? Off the top of my head I would say bent wheel, especially since you say a spacer amplifies the vibration. |

My rubbing is slight and only if you take a full lock corner aggressively (which is pointless and rare anyway). and I'm running an Advan RS 19x9 et22 -- so same offset. |

I think I am at the end of running 19's at this point -- especially since you have to sacrifice so much sidewall to get some much needed width up front. |

Interesting. I may just go 255/35/19. I had 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 and it felt very nice to me (close to neutral but not past into oversteer).
I didn't have vibration with my other OEM wheels. How do I check if I have a bent rim?

I don't know exactly... there has to be a way tho. I usually eyeball the wheel on a balance machine (without the tire) And also see if it needs a lot of weights (again, without the tire). But I would love to know of a precise way to see if a wheel is bent |
