The regular DCT file will give you what you're looking for, because S3 suddenly works like S4 used to, but without the rev matching.

I just had Alex flash my DCT tonight and I have to tell you the difference is huge!! As everyone on here claims.. quick shifts and no slip. Under WOT it kicks in I love it! No jerking when downshifting to 2nd gear like it did before and I tried it thought D and S mode in any setting I was surprised but it doesn't jerk when downshifting into any gear! I love the tune and don't understand why our cars didn't come with it stock!!
Alex works quick.. remotely I just plugged in my OBD II into my car and MacBook and sat down talking to my friend.. about 30 min later it was all done!
I'm very satisfied!!
thanks Alex!

I've been waiting to have Alex do remote coding from me, but when I last messaged him about moving forward and paying, I never heard from him. Hopefully he'll see this post and get back to me:

Hey Alex, still curious about the differences with this DCT sw versus the European OEM. I don't suffer from jerky down shift or lagg when reversing, but wonder if this sw makes the shifts even more aggressive?

Yes, supposedly it bumps everything up "one notch". In other words, the post-tune M5 is more like the OEM M6.

Like others before me, I have to give Alex props for his outstanding service and pricing. I contacted him last Saturday and he agreed to an in-person meeting with only a couple of hours notice! Here are some of the upgrades he did:
-Euro MDM
-GTS DCT
-Front Amber delete
-DVD in motion
-Remote Windows/mirrors
-Reprogrammed Steering Servotronic (about 20% more effort in M mode, builds with speed)

I didn't think the DCT upgrade would make much difference but it did. Previous posts noted that BMW should've released the car like this - I definitely agree. Same with the steering. It drives better than when I picked it up from the Welt 4 years ago. The improvements make it an even tougher decision to switch to an F80. Anyone with an M, DCT should get coding from Alex. One of the best B4B mods out there.

Thanks, Alex

Just had some coding and the GTS DCT tune performed remotely last night. Alex was great - he helped me at the very end of his day with just a few minutes notice. Everything went smoothly. The DCT tune is great. Noticed it immediately when putting the car in reverse. Shockingly, it engaged without pause. Also, the whole transmission just feels smoother. In D3, the upshifts and downshifts under light to moderate throttle make the car much less jerky. (My wife will like that). In the higher programs, the shifts are quick, but not abrupt. Overall, I think this is the best upgrade I have made to the car. I highly recommend it...and Alex is the guy to do it.

Any issues with warranty claims? Thinking about having it done but I have a third party warranty.

Had Alex do the GTS tune remotely recently. Appointment easy to make even between LA and Paris! Nice. Best tune I've had, definitely recommended.
- DCT feels a whole lot smoother between 1k and 4.5k, and R N D switch definitely more like it, no clunk whatsoever. I am at a loss why BMW didn't make it standard for all DCT cars.
- when flooring it and DCT goes from 7th to 3rd, feels way faster than before, had the feeling it took ages before, now more like what I would expect. Gear shift tming went from 140ms to 110ms and it's night and day. I could use even a little faster when WOTing and asked Alex if we could do 100ms but he recommended to stay safe. Guy cares about your car, I like.
Highly recommended especially for SC cars since the blower makes the standard software shortcomings even more acute.

I guess SLIGHTLY off topic but I spent a few weeks researching, reading info from Evolve, ESS, AA, and BPM and third party reviews...While all have ups/downs...Evolve and BPM seemed to have the best customer service and the happiest customers....

I Ultimately chose BPM Stage II (which was on a Holiday Sale for M3Post members)....Reason being a feature not offered by the others. I Couldn't be happier.

Recently had the tune removed by the dealer due to a dealership replaced FRM, and I gotta say I would never want to have to drive my car without it again...The difference between the new 240E, and BPM Servo-tronic changes, and overall drivability since I went cat-less...and the software that came on my CPO 2011 M3 is night/day...

Its a matter of preference, each has its strong points. All can be done remotely. And My 6 SPD BPM Stage II takes out my buddies ESS Tuned 2013 DCT M3 (almost identical mods) by a goof deal. While Idk if thats the only culprit, It deff doesn't hurt.

Evolve has a lot of happy customers too...Depends on your needs, preferences...

Another happy customer here! I had Alex code the edc along with the dct tune and I am completely amazed how the transmission comes alive. Reverse is instant, downshifting is crisp and a little louder in tone than before. The car just seems faster when doing stop and go acceleration. For my lack of reading directions Alex was very help along the way!! Cheers

Anyone have any issues on the track after installing the DCT tune? Overheating or gone into limp mode?
