Amazon Spark Plugs
Where are you Canadian folks buying maintenance items from? I'm about to tackle several items on my E90 M3 and have the seen the following varying prices from Canadian retailers on spark plugs (NGK 4471 LKR8AP):
Amazon ($16): https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B001MU5LSI/...v_ov_lig_dp_it German Parts ($27): https://germanparts.ca/parts/bmw/200...n/spark-plugs/ Factory Auto Parts ($20): https://www.factoryautoparts.ca/prod...m3~vd_s65-4-0l I'm inclined to go with Amazon given the much cheaper price, but am worried of the horror stories regarding knock-off spark plugs. Anyone have any experiences? I will also be doing brakes in the coming month or two and am curious where people recommend going for rotors and pads. I'm looking for OEM equivalents and am seeing around $2,000-$2,500 from German Parts. Does this seem about right or does anyone have another recommendation? |

Buy from RockAuto ($7):
https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/ng...park+plug,7212 Shipping is not too pricey, and taxes/duties are included in the price. There are 5% coupons floating around online if you do a quick search as well. I usually buy two sets at a time and have friends that have purchased the same spark plugs from Rock Auto with no issues. |

Lots of fake NGKs on the market on both Amazon/eBay. Buyer beware.

Rock auto is ok. Fcp euro is good. Canadian prices are lame.

RockAuto is life. I've been buying loads of OEM maintenance items from them for years. I think out of over 100 items purchased, I've yet to find anyone local that can beat their pricing even after duties and taxes.
And their shipping speed is super quick as well.

Can't believe I have never used Rock Auto before. Just placed my order and it beats even Amazon's prices. Thanks for the recommendation all!

I get most parts from the dealer with a pretty heavy discount fortunately.
But otherwise nothing beats FCPEuro. Lifetime warranty on all parts. |

For what it's worth, RockAuto shipped my items in roughly 3 days and everything seemed okay. Changing the spark plugs was nowhere near as awful as some make it out to be! |

Wish I could but it’s kind of an inside deal because I used to work there haha. You don’t want that exhaust anyway! They’re junk and crack eventually.
